  1. Best wishes to you. This is the best forum I started at a similar place to you and am also 5'5. I'm now three months out and down 46 pounds. I love my sleeve.
  2. I was the same way, it will be here before you know it. Enjoy your journey!
  3. Not much at all. I can eat a couple Tablespoons of protein and a bit more if it's soup or soft. I'm 3 months out yesterday.
  4. You are getting through the hardest part. I swear you will start to feel more and more normal every week. Hang in there. You can do this.

    Epcot

I was back to swimming pretty hard two weeks post surgery, but I never could have done that trip at that stage. I was too tired.

  12. I wish I hadn't been so excited to tell people. Now I feel the pressure when the process slows to a halt for weeks as happens to me. Now that I'm through the toughest part I realize I should have kept it to myself. It's a slow emotional process. I now have a very different relationship with food. That was my main goal, but it doesn't happen overnight. I also didn't realize how sensitive I would become about watching people eating huge portions. It literally makes me a little sick to see portions at restaurants. It's a great journey and I have been enjoying the process.
  13. I was given these shots in the hospital the entire time I was there, and they give them in the stomach but it isn't that bad. I have never given myself shots.
  14. Me too. I never feel like I have to go anymore and go infrequently.
  15. Sending healing vibes and prayers to you. I'm si sorry you are struggling. Hoping every day gets better.

    Craving Chocolate ...help

Supreme chocolate low carb protein bars taste like candy.
  17. Sizes are crazy I see people my weight who are a 12, I'm not even close. But I carry my weight in my hips ugh.
  18. You got great advice. I just wanted to say feel better and it will get better hang in there.
  19. I'm 39, I wish I had it done much sooner. It's absolutely changed my life for the better.
  20. I was in overnight. I would have preferred two nights, but in the end one night was enough.
  21. Whether or not it's more beneficial for insurance companies to cover surgery proactively rather than dealing with the costs of obesity related complications. It seems like common sense, but not all insurance believe the same thing. Or where to start coverage, would it be more beneficial to cover starting at a lower BMI? Goods luck
  22. Waving hi Sharon! I can't because I was a little lactose intolerant before and now well yeah I don't go there. I would stick to Water just because of the calories unless you just can't stand it and then you do what you have to do to get your Protein in. I prefer the RTD ones just less hassle. Swimmy

Mine rose a but too, but because I went off BP meds that were causing it to go too low. That's not something I've heard happen before. Best wishes.
