Dr took me off bp meds.

Current weight loss is at 62lbs!!!!!!!!!!

_{No pre-op diet. I was sleeved on 12-12-2011 (eleven weeks out) weighing 329. I am down 62lbs. now at 267.}

I can RELATE TOTALLY to this topic. Prior to vsg surgery I was a food pit!!!!

After surgery food is not important in my daily scheme of things. I try to eat enough to acquire enough Protein as instructed. However, most days I just cannot make myself eat very much at all. I cannot believe the change/difference in my outlook on eating!!!!!!!

My starting weight was 329, down to 279!!!!!!!

Sleeved on December 12th, was not required to follow pre-op diet. Total weight loss in seven weeks

FIFTY pounds!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes I reccomend the sleeve to those needing to improve their health and live a longer happier life!!!!!!!!!!

I have lost 31 pounds since surgery on the 12th. Thank you to Dr. Marvin for your expertise and help in getting this accomplished. However, my wife and I leave on a seven day cruise on 1-15 and I need suggestions on what foods I might eat while crusing.

What is your opinion on the Q ball concerning pain management?? Do you think it helped???

Aaetna called this afternoon with approval news. I will have pre-op visit Wednesday the 7th and surgery on the 12th. I am running the gammit of emotions!!!!!! Apprehensive, excited, etc....

Dr Marvin did my surgery and he is quite wonderful. He is double-board-certified in general surgery and criticall care medicine. His staff was very helpful throughout the process. The only negative think I can say is that there wasn't much nutritional support post-op. I already have a lot of knowledge in this area but some may want to establish a relationship with a nutritionist.

You couldn't be in better hands than Dr Marvin for your surgery!

I am currrently in the process of approval required by my insurance, one more visit and then submit for approval!!! YAY!!! Just curious if anyone on here has or is going to use Dr. Marvin for the procedure. Any response is appreciated.
