3 more weeks until my Sister, my Girlfriend, and myself get our Surgery !! Yeah!! I've been so excited that I can't shut my brain off at night so I have to take half a gravol to go to sleep at night. The only thing I fear is being put under as I never have been before. I'm looking forward to the protien pre-op diet but a little nervous when it turns into the liquid diet but I know it will be worth.

It is going to be a journey that is going to change our lives but I have told very few people about it as I don't want people to think that I'm taking the easy way out but if I could have done this with diet and excercise and kept it off I would have done it a long time ago. I'm sure when they find out I will get their support. Anyone out there have anyone who did not support you how did you deal with it, I am a little afraid of this happening. I'd love to hear your stories .

Getting my Sleeve with Dr. Garcia in Tijuanna on Monday Nov.7th 2011 with my Sister and my girlfriend yes, all 3 of us on the same day!! My friend and myself live in Saskatoon Sk Canada and my sister lives in Vancouver BC Canada. We will be meeting at the San Diego airport and our driver will be picking us up and taking us to Tijuanna with some time to snoop around, shop and get ready for our surgeries the next day. I think this is such a great way to do this as we will be there together for each other. We are going back to SanDiego to spend 1 day at beautiful hotel where we can relax in a tropical atmosphere, walk around the marina and just catch our breath before we go back home.We'll keep you posted!
