  1. Keep me posted on this one. I may be interested.
  2. Dont fret, I know its annoying but I had that same problem. I kept the hiccups but no burping. It will eventually go away.
  3. The website is www.unjury.com
  4. Congratulations Jonathan. And as they say in Star Trek -- Beam me up Hope you get beamed up for a fantastic voyage with your new wife!
  5. Alex, Your girls are soooo adorable. All of the kids are cute and looks like they have that Christmas twinkle in their eyes.
  6. Sounds like its time to call your gynecologist.
  7. Oh dear, I see a lot of you have jokes. Another funny. LOL!!!
  8. Ann, Welcome to Bandland! Good luck to you on your journey.
  9. Yea, Atalina, what is up with that cough reflex. I by accident got the juicy mouth and thought well if i just go to the bathroom and spit I'll be ok but I coughed also (not intentionally) and poof it (slime) came up and I was relieved. I found out last nite that pork chops do not work for me. I thought I would try a piece since I have not had one since surgery. Back to the drawing board.
  10. Now, now, be good. Let's not talk about people in their face. You know your Mama taught you better. I just need to figure out what I can eat. I thought chicken was ok but the other day it wasn't so great. I had some soft tacos the other day and that seemed to work. Salad still works, thank God. I am still experimenting though but really dont give up on me. I plan on making it to one of the luncheons or meeting, I promise. Thanks for thinking of me.
  11. Welcome Tracy. I am another MD lapbander. Welcome aboard. Make sure you ask as many questions as you want. The basic rule is in here there are no dumb questions! Good luck to you.
  12. I am here! I have been trying to deal with my new restriction, finally! I am in an all new learning phase. I am still trying to figure out what I can eat and I am learning my list is getting smaller and smaller. But I am OK. You gals keep sending the invites I promise I am going to eventually make it to something. Now keep up the good work, drink Water, no soda, exercise and push those carbs away. So that's what you really missed was me cracking that whip on the two of you. :bandit
  13. I have heard that surgery will throw your cycle off. I had my surgery in March and did not have a period again until May. Great to skip a month! I think its a way that your body is trying to deal with healing.
  14. Sorry but I have to say I had a Butterball at Thanksgiving and the same thing happened to me. I first tried the white meat, got stuck, so the next day I tried dark meat, got stuck so you know what I gave up. Then I got this brilliant idea to chop up some of the turkey and mix it with mayo. As long as I took in small amounts and chewed up really good it went down fine. I could tell when it was trying to get the golf ball effect so I would just stop and eventually the gurlgling started which for me meant things were going down. I used lots of mayo. Just had to get that turkey fix!!!
  15. The only vitamin I use is Centrum Orange Chewables. I get them from Walmart.
  16. I just got off the phone with LSasha and she sounds great. My advice to her was not to try to push it. Take her time and let her war wounds heal. LOL!!!!
  17. LSasha, Dont entice them. If they just seem a bag in your car thats bad, they will think they have something good.
  18. Kim, Best wishes to you and your family. I am sending a prayer your way.
  19. Dont think you'll get a date for this weekend. It really depends on the doctor. Some doctors want lots of test such as gastro, cardiology stress test, sleep study etc. It will depend on what kind of medical issues you have as well. Dont rush into this be sure you are make the most healthiest decision for your body. Get as much information as you need and make sure your doctor participates in those decisions. Good luck to you.

Not a man basher but really a woman has to do what she has to do. I packed my stuff up 15 years ago and never looked back. To be honest I dont think my life would have turned out as nice and positive as it has if I had stayed. My kids are normal too!!!!
  21. Yes, Teresa, let me know if you decide to go and have a liquid lunch. I could definitely handle that. You are right, that fill I got yesterday is holding on really tight. I hope it's not too tight. Take care and dont forget me.
  22. Oh Lisa, I am crying all over my desk. I know how you feel. My kitty looked just like yours. I am so sorry for you.
  23. Teresa, Dont let me have to call you. This is the second time I have seen you mention a soda watered down. Get busy with some Crystal Lite. Better for you than those watered down sodas.
  24. Congratulations to the both of you. Welcome to some where over the rainbow in a place called Bandland.
  25. Michelle, I am so sorry to hear about your erosion. Best of luck to you and I will send a prayer your way on the 28th.
