Marie, Thanks, I may have to take you Texas gals up on that. And really I wont feel too far from home since I proclaim I am the #1 Dallas Cowgirl!!!!! You all sure know how to make a girl feel welcomed. -
WHOAAAAA, These are some fantastic stories. I must have lived a boring life. I dont have anything to contribute. OH WAIT!!! Here we go, when I was married to my first husband I went to a family reunion over his parents house. Well the woman across the back of the house said something to his mom about showing off and it was on. I have never seen anything like it. His mother snatched off her wig and went into the back of the house and the two women started to fight. I was tripping, I had never seen anything like it. Then his brother, sister and my ex started to fight this womans kids. It looked like some stuff on a TV show. I am an only child so I had no idea that folks really acted up like this. Needless to say this is probably why I am not in that family anymore!!!! And to date, my youngest daughter went to a reunion about a year ago with them and said mom guess what, they are still fighting. I laughed and said to myself some things never change!

Penni, Glad to hear your mom is doing fine. My mom had lots of colon problems -- not cancer but problems with the colon becoming twisted. This was the result of my moms demise. I hope all will be well with your sister too. That's really sad. Take care and know prayers are with your Tanya

Hi All, I am still waiting for insurance approval so while I'm waiting I figured I start some new habits. One is to drink more Water or liquids in general. Is it ok to drink the flavored waters like Fruit2O? What other kinds of liquids could I do to get me to 60 fuid oz a day? I like milk so how many glasses can I consume in a day? Any other ideas on other things I can do while I'm waiting, I even started a mini exercise routine. TG

Tanise, That is really a great inspirational story. I cant wait to grow up and be just like you! I really worry about me and the exercising bit. I am really going to have to re-learn all of those bad habits I have when it comes to a work out. Fortunately, I know the right things to eat I just eat too much of it. Again, thanks for the info.

Well I'm on week number 3 and we still haven't heard anything from the insurance company. I have United Healthcare. Does an insurance approval take this long? Does anyone else have United Healthcare? I'm losing hope.

I got this information from the nutritionist I went to see back when I was making my rounds to all the pre-surgery doctors. I ordered some of the samples to give me an idea of what I was really going to like. The website is http://vitalady.com/ Glad to hear your date is coming soon, I am still waiting for insurance approval:sick

I am still awaiting approval for my surgery but from everything I've read and heard is that you really dont want to waste the caloric intake on an alcoholic beverage. I could be wrong but they are rather high in calories. Good luck on your surgery.
