Hello! I have my consultation with Dr. Marema in early October. I was curious how long you stayed in St. Augustine after the surgery. I am in the Panhandle and will be traveling about 5 1/2 hours. Hope you are recovery quickly!

I have read that whole forum. That is why I am pretty set on the sleeve at this point! *scary* I was already concerned about maintaining the band long term and paying for possible complications since I am a self pay. My insurance has a total WLS exclusion I can't wait to meet Dr. Marema! Glad to hear you like him!

Forgive me for not reading completely. You said you are still doing the insurance stuff. You will likely have your surgery before mine then! We need to keep tabs on each other!

Oh wow! That's great! I have my consultation with him on Oct. 6th and will probably schedule for early January. I am discussing lap band and sleeve, but I think I am pretty set on the sleeve at this point. Are you scheduled yet?
