Almost 100 Lbs Down! Loving Life
I skate 2 hrs of roller derby twice a week (barring my bruised up tailbone) I go to the YMCA for 50 min cardio 3X a week & I do strength training here and there. I need to get on the AB TRAIN so I can look better. If I did not exercise, NO WAY I would be where I am today.

Nsv's, Setbacks & Derby *photos*
70 LBS DOWN TODAY!!!! Boooooooooom! Victory is SWEET! I have some setbacks: -Ate some CRAP sugary food over the last 3 weeks. Stalled my A$$ off! -Stopped killing it at the gym due to a Derby Injury NSV's: I bought several XL things including an adorable dress & they all FIT AWESOMELY! That is regular ladies XL, not 1X.... just to clarify (& gloat) I bought a size 12 REGULAR WIDTH strappy ridiculous heels that SCREAM Vegas (will be there in one month!) I was up to a 13W before surgery. I am currently wearing a tank top from the JUNIORS section. it has a multi-color zebra pattern & I think I'm going to wear it to the gym later! I can sit in the school chairs that have arms on them now. I can walk up to the third floor apartment of a friend of mine & I can still breathe!! My collarbones exist... and they are LOVELY! So, pretty damn good if you ask me. I have many more victories than setbacks & I start regular practices with the Charlotte Rollergirls Derby team IN ONE WEEK EXACTLY! L-O-V-I-N-G my new life~ ALSO.... CHECK OUT MY VIDEO BLOG ON YOUTUBE. More about my derby adventures there. Link is in my signature. I would love your feedback!!!!

Sushi Recommendations?
I had sushi last night for dinner. I ate about 1/3 a bowl of egg drop soup first, then I had a Philadelphia roll with light rice. It was cut in to 6 pieces & I was able to eat all 6 pieces exactly as I ate them before. I just picked it up, dipped it in the wasabi soy sauce & YUM! I just chewed well, but I tolerated it without any issue. I LOVE that my bill was $13 & I also paid for my son's kid meal in that!!

None Of My Pants Fit Anymore.
My pants are starting to be ridiculously huge.... I LOVE IT! I am a bit of a clothes hound & went through all of my stuff the other day. It is happy AND sad. I worked hard for that wardrobe & Lane Bryant has seen thousands and thousands of my dollars! I am passing the things to my sister that are her style & I guess I am going to ebay the rest of them! It is exciting to start fitting in the clothes that were too small but you held on to them, JUST IN CASE!

Relationship With Food
I always knew I had a bad relationship with food, but now I feel like I can get around the hunger, take a breath & actually change it. That is the magic in the sleeve!

When Did You See Impovement On Co-morbid Conditons?
I had daily pain in my knee & foot for more than a year. Now, less than 2 weeks out, I have NONE! It is amazing how 31 lbs can change something so dramatically! Also, BP has been around 130/90 for about a year & I had it checked on Friday & it was 102/75

I Can Take Big Drinks Of Water At 1 Week Post-op.... Is This Ok!?
Is this normal? I can easily drink 8+ oz of water an hour if I let myself. I can take large, normal drinks & it doesn't hurt at all. Protein shakes are thicker & I can FEEL them go down more, but not painful. I do take smaller drinks of those to avoid the trapped air feeling. I just don't want to jack my sleeve up at 1 week post op, but sip sip sipping constantly is driving me nuts & I am tolerating it well. SO, what is your advice/experience?

Tomorrow Is My Gastric Sleeve Surgery Day
Well, I'm sleeved! It was not nearly as bad (so far) as I had anticipated! I had nausea in the PACU & apparently cussed my doctor out a bit about nausea meds. I don't rememberthat part AT ALL, but I do remember the nurse saying that she had given me all the stuff for nausea that she could. Haha. Oops! It is day 2 & I feel generally comfortable. No vomiting. I am able to get my water & protien shakes in. I am so glad I'm on this side of the surgery. Let the real work begin! Now back to SIP WALK REST.
