"Is this all the weight I am going to lose". That is a pretty negative statement considering you have lost 141 pounds!! This is incredible!! You should be very happy with the success and weight loss you have had. Maybe this is all that your body wants to lose. How do you feel now? How do you look? Why 150? Please be satisfied where you are and see what your body does.
Congratulations to you.
I am very happy with my weight loss accomplishments, but I would like to be at my goal weight. I feel like I will never get there!

I had my surgery August 5, 2011. I was 321 lbs. at my heaviest. The day of my surgery I weighed 308 lbs. As of today I weigh 167 lbs. I feel like I am stuck at this weight. I would like to be at least 150 lbs. I have been stuck between 165lbs. - 170lbs. for two months now! I am getting really discouraged! Is this all the weight I am going to lose? Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated!

I am 8 months post op (vertical sleeve). I have lost 121 lbs. and doing great. I couldn't be more pleased with my results. I almost feel bad for writing this... but I miss eating. There are a lot of foods that I can't eat anymore, whether it be because its too high in calories or my body just wont digest it. I hate going out to eat or just eating at family get togethers. I really don't enjoy food anymore. I am constantly observing what there is to eat, if there is anything I can eat. Trying to count calories in my head. Thinking about is it really worth it to eat this or that. etc.
After I eat like 2 or 3 bites I am full and I just sit and stare at everyone else just dive into their food. And family and friends are all like "that's it?" "that's all you are going to eat?"
Don't get me wrong I love my sleeve & its totally worth it. But does anyone else have these feelings of missing food or almost being mad at people that can eat? I know I sound selfish and I don't mean to sound that way.

When I drink through a straw it makes my stomach hurt and I am 8 months post op. It might just be best to do away with straws for a while.

You seem to be doing awesome! You're 3 months ahead of me, but there's no way I'd be able to lose 121 pounds in 8 months at the rate I'm going! I'll be lucky to lose 75 pounds in 8 months. You're doing great.
Thank You! You Can Do It!

I had my vertical sleeve surgery August 5, 2011 weighing in at 321 lbs.! Now almost 8 months later I weigh 200lbs. (total of 121 lbs lost). My question... is this right on track? slow? fast? My goal is to be at 150 lbs. by August 5, 2012. Hoping I can do it. I try to exercise daily, but some days its hard because I am chasing my two year old twins around (which is also a pretty good work out). I feel like I should be losing more... Can anyone help with advice and tips? Please & Thank You
