  2. So the 23rd this month is going to be my 3 months mark.I had my follow up appointment today , a few days early .Well I'm thrilled to say that lab results were excellent and for the first time in more than 7 years , I'm officially NO LONGER, insulin resistant :) I do have PCOS and my symptoms improved a lot. It's been an amazing journey so far . My total lost is 57 lbs including pre op diet and I have only 29 lbs more to go. Even that I started with a "low" BMI of 38,It hasn't been easy. I'm busting my butt at the gym 5 times a week. Exercise has been very important for my success , and I'm looking forward to continue exercising So far my surgeon said I had lost about 60% off my excess weight .What else I can say , I LOVE my sleeve , I'm having more energy and even my libido is now high lol . Thank you sleevie!!!
  3. Maybe you need to talk to your surgeon about switching your anti reflux medicine? Nexium works well for me. As for the constipation is a problem that I still having at almost 3 months post. Is hard to get all your water in. Have you try Miralax? My dr prescribed miralax is like benefiber but better,is a white odorless powder with no flavor that you can add to your protein shakes or juice. A lot people taste buds change after surgery, some people don't tolerate eggs at all. Maybe you need to make them softer? I hope that you feel better soon
  4. Congrats looks like you are doing an outstanding progress :)

  7. You can start exercising from now if you want That will help to speed your weight loss. You can start researching around protein drinks,so you have an idea which one you like the most from now. Time will fly by is almost the 15 hang in there , I will see ya at the losers bench soon
  8. wow you are doing amazing!!!! keep it up!!
  9. Hi, We all have stalls,is something that we can't stop I do have a week where I can lose 2-3 lbs and then 2 weeks later I lose 0. I do have a hard time still eating slow,I eat fast,is something I haven't been able to change even after surgery. I suggest you to start going to the gym, trust me exercise is huge in this process. I even see the difference on me. As you can see I was sleeved recently in November 11' and I have done a pretty good progress so far. ( a least I think so lol ) I do work out 5 times a week, I do cardio and weights. As soon as you start becoming more active, you will notice that you have more energy to work out and everything else will fall in place Good luck!!
