Sleeved! 5 Days Post-Op
Yes is totally normal. You still healing from the surgery . I think I started feeling "normal" by week 3 or so. It will get better, keep getting your fluids . And rest as much as you can .They prescribed me an anti nausea medication for the first 2-3 weeks called Zofran. Are you taking any anti nausea meds? Congrats on your weight loss so far!

Dr. Alvarez
I didn't had surgery with him because my surgery was paid by my health insurance . But if this was not case , I will gladly pay for my surgery with Dr Alvarez. To me he is the best surgeon there is others who are good but I never seen a surgeon who believes so much in the sleeve . I can't tell you how much he charges but all I heard is amazing stories about him .

Why Am I Starving Today!
What do you mean with starving? is normal to be hungry every 2-3 hours. As long as you pick the right snacks you will be good to go. I do noticed that I eat a little more when I am on period therefore I work out a little harder those days!! I know you are only 3 weeks so for now you need to take it easy till your new stomach heals.

Hoping To Get Sleeved
Welcome, and congrats on your decision of getting sleeve. Is the best decision that I had ever made for myself. An amazing gift of life. Is hard to lose weight here in Texas with all these "All you can eat buffets" and the giant food portions at the restaurants. But I want to live healthy and stay fit so I am not letting that being a rock on my path . I have a personal trainer but is only for a short time period while I get use my work outs. I think a personal trainer will be helpful if you have never work out at the gym. At least for 1-2 months. Beer…. mmm i hear people have one or two. I am not drinker myself. I used to love Guinness Stout prior surgery and I haven't even try any kind of beer.I am too afraid of the damage since I am only almost 3 months out and the amount of calories/carbs they can cause to my sleeve. But like I said I know people who had 1-2 beers after sleeve occasionally and they are doing great.

I Am A Failure
I think that the damage was done and we should not judge Lovepink. I mean yeah this surgery is something serious and if you advance your food stages after surgery , this can cause serious problems , like food getting stuck on your staple line because still very swollen at 2 weeks out. What you did is done and there is no turning back . Get yourself back on track and follow the sleeve rules and you will be sucesful .Think about it ,you did this to improve your health and look better. And everything in this life comes with sacrifices . Seek for a professional counselor. Tomorrow is a new day , take a deep breath and start over. Good luck !!
