  1. Awesome idea.

My name is Lilliana, age 30 . I'm half Spanish and half polish . I lived in a speaking spanish country for 21 years till I got married to my now husband who is active duty in the army . I have PCOS and it caused me to struggled with infertility for 6-7 years . I finally got pregnant after losing 40 lbs doing weight watchers but that didn't last long after my pregnancy . So since I struggled with my weight my whole life , my dr decided to reffered me for weight loss surgery and I did research first in by pass for years until I found this site and picked the VSG for me . I have many health issues due to my weight . I'm a stay home mom for now with my 2 years old sweet girl . I'm planning to return to school soon to finish my bachelors degree in graphic arts .

  2. The pre op diet sucks but you get used to it, I even cried the second day LOL, It was very hard for me since I had cook for my husband and my daughter normal yummy foods. I always put inside my head that the diet was for own well being and I got used to it around day 4. You CAN do it :) You will see that is worth at the end, just think that is only temporary and later you will be able to eat normal :) The pre op liquid diet is designed to help shrink your liver but also to lose weight :) They want you to lose some weight before your surgery.

Don't stress out. Drink crystal light and broths and eat all the sugar free popsicles you can. Can you have natural apple sauce? What helped me the most with my 2 week pre op diet was that my surgeon told me if they weight me in and I didn't lose any weight before surgery, they were not going to do my surgery . Relax and think that is a new beginning and a new chance that you are giving yourself to live ,to feel happy,to enjoy your family :) Happy New year!!!

  3. So yesterday was my 9 years wedding anniversary and the hubby took me out for dinner to Logan's and,I ordered a grilled chicken breast with a baked sweet potato and I shared my meal with my 2 year old baby. :) I asked for a to go box before I start eating my meal and I took out of my plate the food that I was not going to eat :) I was so full with 2 bites of chicken and 2 tsp of sweet potato. I was so happy!!! Before I could eat the whole plate and ask for desert :) Yay for my sleeve. I took home the left overs and my daughter and my husband had some. I just had 2 bites of the chicken for lunch. Now that I am not allow to eat much I realized the ridiculous portions of food that restaurants serve here in America and is worse in Texas lol

I just wanted to share my first experience dining out Banane55.gif
