  1. I got to twelve steps meetings for support for substance abuse, but have found that it helps for my feelings toward food too. The fact of the matter is, for me it sounded like a good idea for someone to cut out a good portion of my stomach so that I can not each as much food as I want anymore. Therefore I must have a problem with food. I think that counseling will help you get through this journey.

  2. There is something that we say in the twelve step program I belong to and that is "Trust the process". Just follow the directions of your Dr. and you will be okay. You know in your own heart if you are doing your best. It does sounds like good advice to get rid of that scale this about a lifestyle change not just numbers. Much of what need to happen with that lifestyle change needs to happen between our ears it's not just about what we put in our mouth.

  3. I was sleeved June 15. The tried to let me leave the hospital June 16 but my wife wasn't having it and it was a good thing. I had terrible gas pain, in fact the gas pain was worse than the incision pain.... I had to have a soap and Water enema then a milk and molasses enema. Not fun but it did do the trick. I got out yesterday and haven't had a bm yet but I have been farting. Never been so grateful for farting in my life lol. I am drinking pretty good and am holding stuff down. I don't really care hot the stuff tastes I just drink it because I know I need it. It's only a week until pureed foods so I know I can make it.
