Yay! milestone hit.....as of this morning I'm down 70.4 pounds!!!

I have a full-thickness tear in my rotator cuff, so surgery on 9/13. Ugh, and yay all at the same time. Glad it can be repaired surgically, not looking forward to an immobilized right arm for 6 weeks

So I'm right in the path of this tropical storm.....fun times to come!! from what they are saying the bad weather will start tomorrow morning or afternoon and go through Friday morning.......the fun of living in Florida!

Depression, anxiety really bad... and weight gain. Blood work and WTF appointment this week. Hope they have some idea of what to do, because I sure don't.

people who so self focused that they can't keep their eyes out of the mirror or too busy stalking their own page are really not worth my time. gotta learn to walk right past that mess. and look for those who are making a difference out there

Got through the weekend without an altercation with my mother - was able to ignore her at the party saturday. My nephews and their wives now know about my surgery and seem supportive. And I got my new short and sassy hairdo!

Prayers are wonderful things! Or perhaps it's karma, but wound is closed, culture is clear. I see my surgeon tomorrow again for a recheck. Thank YOUs for the prayers, and thank you Karma. Karma is a funny thing...

Back from Dallas and Coldplay concert experience. Sat in the middle of my row, didn't worry about the seat breaking....bounced up and down for two hours...nice new NSV

Surgery in a week in Tijuana. I'm getting nervous!

planning to go through the closet and get rid of all the "fat" shoes this weekend. then, I'll know what I need to buy.

I believe I will treat myself to a nice hot bubble bath, it's been a long day.

I am so hella sick of protein shakes. Having to force myself to drink them to get my protein, as the powder makes pre-made pudding and yogurt taste funny. Won't get cleared for puree/soft until Wed afternoon. I'll get through this, but last night I seriously wanted to suck the salt off of a cracker my hubby was eating. LOL. Chew and spit makes more sense in my head now. LOL

Last two drains are out. 1/2 of the sutures are out. For the first time in over forty years I can see my "lady bits"! Question: When did my "lady bits" turn grey?? I'll blame my surgeon.
