Was so tempted to chew a bite of pizza, then spit it out. Got the hot, delicious pizza an inch from my mouth and my husband knocked it out of my hand. It flew across the room and landed face down. :-(

Welcome AnnaChelle. The last few weeks of the countdown really fly! I'll have a pretty detailed account of my surgery with Dr. Almanza next week. So. Freaking. Excited.

Something to look forward to on Thursday is the 71°F/64°F forecast for San Diego. It will really feel like a vacation. At least for a few hours.
I might have to bring a jacket. -
It is so dang hot here today and Thursday/Friday is close enough for me to check the weather in Tijuana. Hoping for some sweet relief. It'll be worth the gas pain, I think! Also.. I think all I am going to be able to get down is RTD protein. Can't wait to be able to get the protein in through food!

So, September sleevers this is my current prep step. I have been stocking up on Wonton broth (freezing for post op), protein shake samples, "Better than Boullion" base flavors, and this weekend I am planning to cook several different soups/broths to start my freezer stock for post op.. Other items on my grocery list this week include SF jello and popsicles. Gotta start somewhere? What are y'all doing to prep that pantry/fridge/refrigerator? 30 days!

I think that this is not a pre-op diet problem at all, but something you really need to sit down and talk about with your husband.. This is more of a support issue. If you don't talk about it (and not little quips and arguments here and there) don't think it will go away. I will add you to my prayers. Chin up.
