  1. I was sleeved March 15th 2011... I lost 85lbs so far.... Tips-I would say working out- cardio and keeping that apart of your weightloss regimen never giving up on your sleeve and never get disappointed when you put on a couple pounds because they can always come back off if you rock your sleeve....

  2. I know the feeling but just like all the others stated YES u will LOSE the WEIGHT!!! It might not come off as fast as you want but u will LOSE!!! I am 4 months out and down 49 lbs which I am happy with!! can't wait until I hit the 170 lbs!!! This is something I use to dream about now its a reality!! I am soooooooo happy with my choice and the money I have spent it was the best 5 grand I ever spent!!!!!!! lol

  3. Decamom that sure is award in its self!!! I am happy for u!!!

I am in the 180's too and I can't wait to get out! Been here for 3 weeks already. I haven't got a reward out there for myself like your designer jeans...I will have to think on that! Since I got divorced and then married a wonderful man, had my sleeve and am enjoying my life...I can't think of something I lack.... Now that's a reward in itself!biggrin.gif

    Living the dream,

  4. That is great!!! U are doing wonderful!! Yes get the jeans! I cannot wait til I get mines! lol

Hey Weightbegone, I am SO happy for you. I see by your weight loss ticker that you have lost 46 pounds! that is Great!!! I have lost 45 pounds, but am still in the 200's. I am SO looking forward to being under 200 lbs! I tried to think of the last time I was under 200, and it was like 35 years ago, when I was pregnant with my youngest son. (He has never seen me under 200 lbs!) I can hardly wait to enter "ONE-derland"!!! And I think your idea of a pair of designer jeans sounds wonderful. About five years ago I bought some really neat jeans that FIT me. I have this problem, I have no butt. Am fat everywhere else, but no butt. So jeans bagged on me and my kids always laughed and called me the "saggy, baggy elephant"! I found a place that said they could fit anyone in a pair of jeans. So I went, and bought two pair (THAT FIT!), to the tune of $96 per pair. And, I loved them. They fit. Then I went on vacation and gained a bunch of weight, and poof, no more well fitting jeans! So I think I too will purchase a pair of designer jeans once I get into "ONE-derland" as a treat to myself. (I gave away the "well fitting" jeans last summer in a clean out my closet fit.)

Keep up the good work! Your're doing great!

  5. Thanks Coops! I am trying to stay positive but I am use to everytime I get on the scale it is down 1 or 2 pounds! And for the last couple times I am at a standstill and I do not weigh myself everyday maybe once a week! I am kind of sad I have to admit! I know it will get better!

    Hey...

don't worry; stalling is part and parcel of the process... I think I am the Queen of Stalls....lol... and since the New Tear, I am a very slow loser... but it is coming off and I am not gaining!

How far out are you? Have you taken measurements? In the last 6mths I have only lost about 14lb - and there was a huge stall of 5-6 weeks in that - but I have gone down a dress size and a little...

try not to be discouraged or put pressure on yourself. I did that and I ended up in a real dark place.

I notice that you have lost over half your goal now, so congratulate yourself on that... also, try putting on some of your pre sleeve clothes... watch them fall to the ground and smile, smuggly, to yourself. It works for me every time stall! =]
