  1. Bought a new scale that has my weight spot on with my what my doctor measures me as. Gonna change my numbers to reflect the new scale. The old scale kept changing everytime I stepped on it. I'm adding 7 pounds to my weight because the new scale has me at 191 and not 184... A little bumbed but I'll make it up!

  2. Went to the doctor yesterday. I pulled a muscle along my permanent staple wall in my stomach. He told me to take it easy for a few days. If it's not better next week, I have to go for a CAT scan to see if I have a hernia.

  3. Think I've finally hit a stall. It's been 1 week and I've not lost any weight. I think it's because I can't really exercise between my thumb being sprained and this pulled muscle in my stomach. How am I supposed to make my 4th of July challenge if I can't lose any weight?

  4. Incision pain is still there but not as bad as it was yesterday. I think I might have pulled something gardening the other day. Note to self, apparently I cannot eat sausage, groundbeef, brocolli,or anything with Old Bay seasoning. It makes me sick. Oh well, I guess I'll eat chicken for the rest of my life.

  5. Feeling like crap today. I have this horrible pain in my incision, and everything I eat keeps getting stuck. Think I'm going to lay down and try it again.

  6. I hate gardening. I gardened, raked, hoed, weeded, shoveled, turned soil and a bunch of other crap that I would NEVER do with my sweetie for 90 minutes today. I had just taken a shower before going over there. Needless to say I was DRENCHED by the time I was done. I think that should count as a workout, no? Muscles I didn't have hurt.

  7. It's pretty early, but I'm determined to get my 3 miles in this morning before it gets too hot. I thought I was going to melt walking yesterday - a mistake I will NOT duplicate today!

  8. Almost broke my thumb moving furniture yesterday. First xray says it's not broken, just a severe sprain - have to come back in 5 days for more xrays. I may need surgery on it if the legiment is detached. How am I supposed to do pushups with a 1/2 broken thumb?

  9. Got a blister on my foot from walking 3 miles...ouch! Guess this is an excuse to by new shoes!

  10. It's my birthday! I'm going to have a lemon bar today as my birthday treat! I'm going to walk around the lake and eat like I'm supposed to, but then it's me and my yummy lemon bar...I can't wait!

  11. Got back from my romantic birthday weekend in Niagara Falls Canada! Had a wonderful trip, but I snacked a little too much. I made it to the gym everday and walked everywhere that we went instead of taking the bus or driving. All in all, I didn't do too bad. A few Sun Chips, and a quarter bag of Doritos is just a drop in the bucket in the grand scheme of things! Tomorrow's weigh in will be the deciding factor.

  12. Got a swimsuit - size 14!!!!!!! Fits like a charm!

  13. Gotta buy a swimsuit today. Should it be the size clothes I wear, or a size smaller?

  14. Forgot my protein bar on my bus trip yesterday and had to eat a piece of fried chicken. God, I was so sick! I wish people would take into consideration that not everyone can digest certain foods. Need to be more mindful of my new life when I go out of town on family functions and they say that they'll bring the food...

  15. On my way to Atlantic City. Hopefully I'll win enough money to pay for a tummy tuck and lyposuction!

  16. Tried Zumba at home yesterday. It was pretty fun except I almost danced myself out of my patio window. I think I'm going to try more tonight. I love to dance!

  17. I swear I'm about press charges on Jillian Michaels for attempted murder. She is trying to KILL me!

  18. Finally can fit into 3 pairs of pants I bought before I got sleeved. I bought them because they were cute. They are a size 16 (still big in the waist, but they fit my hips and stomach). At least they're not the 24 I was wearing beforehand!

  19. I jogged for the first time! Granted it was only from 1/2 of the field to the car, but it was the first time I jogged since I was 14! It felt good but I need a better sports bra!

  24. Sleepy and don't want to work out. But, I'm going to do my 30 minutes on the treadmill even if I'm 1/2 asleep doing it!

  25. Tried to eat a fried chicken drummette last night. Didn't go so well. My sleeve does not like the consistency of fried chicken apparently. I'm heart broken because it's my favorite food. Maybe that's a good thing, huh? That's how I got in this mess in the first place!
