  1. You look amazing!!! Wow! Just Wow!
  2. I get in between 500-700 calories a day. I am high on the carbs...at least higher than I'd like, but I am very active .LOL! I don't get all of my protein but staying right around 50 grams. I may try to up the protein and lower the carbs because I have stalled only losing 2 lbs in the last two weeks. That's my goal anyway. Hard to get in everything while working so much.
  3. You are doing fantastic also! You go girl!!!:biggrin1:
  4. That's never good!. I fell off my horse yesterday! I'm a little sore but the way I fell (in slow motion, lol) I didn't hurt anything and when I did land it was just enough to pop some lower back bones that have needed it so bad so so long. I actually feel better today walking in to work. I really think I should go get re-aligned now. I bet it would feel really good then. I hope you didn't hurt yourself to bad.
  5. I walk and ride my horses right now. Well for the last two weeks anyway. I haven't had much weight come off in the past two weeks either but I have lost many inches. Went from a size 16 to a 12 in a week. I really want to get in the gym and start working out but I work 2 jobs and it's hard for me to find time. I just keep walking about and hour a day and increase when I have a little more time to.
  6. That is sooo sweet! Good for you!
  7. So today I am 5 weeks out. I have lost 42 lbs. Had a week stall when TOM came to visit but all is well now. Some of the NSV's I have encountered: Going from a size 18 to a size 12 pants and XXL shirts to L. All of my clothes are way too big now except for the ones I held on to and thank goodness I did. Not getting out of breath to do anything.... and I do mean anything. My boyfriend putting his arms around my waist and being able to grab his elbows with his hands...and commenting on it. Ex-boyfriends seeing me and telling me how great I look. I have a ton but I have saved the best for last........ And sex is so worth it now!!!! Ok, ok. I know TMI .... but it is so true.lol I hope everyone else is doing great as well!
  8. That happen to me. I gained 3lbs and then lost it plus 2. BUT, all of my cloths are still getting bigger and bigger. I feel a ton better too. I was really getting aggravated with the scale so I ignored it for the long weekend and was so excited this morning when it showed the loss!
  9. I finally stated losing again over the weekend! Yay!
  10. I promise it will start again! I was stalled for two weeks. Scared the mess out of me thinking I had spent all of this money for nothing. But I stepped on the scale and guess what.... the 3 lbs I gained and 2 more were gone this morning (I didn't weigh all weekend). I also went another pant size down. IT WILL HAPPEN .....JUST NOT OVERNIGHT! Good Luck Y'all!
  11. When you realize you really do have knee caps!
  12. I don't have an answer for you. I have been at a stall now for a week but the scale finally moved this morning. I would like to encourage you to hold your head up and keep pushing forward. DO NOT get on that scale everyday. Weigh once a week if your not already. Make sure you aren't thinking that you haven't eaten enough and go back for more. Basically what I'm saying is re-evaluate exactly what you are doing. Also, call your Dr.'s office. They may have some suggestions for you. Not only that but from what I understand slower losers have less problems in the long run. It's not healthy to lose all at once anyway. You being stressed out over it isn't going to help either. When you are stressed your body will hold on to weight. YOU ARE NOT A FAILURE! If you still weight 194 in a year, then I'd say the sleeve wasn't for you, but at least you tried. Now, put your big girl pants on and move this in the direction you want it to go! We are all here for you! I hope this did not offend you in any way. I would expect someone to tell me the same.
  13. When you put on a pair of jeans you haven't worn in forever and can still bend at the hips and tie your shoes (without gasping for air and turning bright red!)
  14. TOOOOOO FUNNY!!! Women has the same kinda of things happen to us too. I can see my feet past my boobs now and don't have to bend too far over.lol
  15. When you can get on a horse with out the help of a tailgate of a truck or a step ladder! I rode my horse for the first time yesterday since I had my surgery! I loved it and I think she did too!
  16. All you have to do is click on your ticker itself and it will take you to a link so you can change it.
  17. When someone tells you to go buy a belt cause you a consistently having to pull up your pants. And your daughter tells you to change your pants because you are bagging in your crotch! LOL! I loved that one but still wore them because I haven't been in them in three years. I bought them new and thought if I just lost a little weight I could get in them (and be comfortable). I gained instead. Now I can wear them but not for much longer and I am so happy about that!
  18. I am feeling a million times better this week. All of my pain is just about gone. This Thursday will be 4 weeks. I feel great now! I did have a lot of gas with my TOM last week but it has gotten better too. So I wouldn't count out the gas theory. However, I have never had gas that felt quiet like that and no matter how much I gas I got rid of() it didn't really seem to help. I hope you feel better soon as well!
  19. Congratulations Tina! Welcome!
  20. Do you think you could have pulled stitches too?
  21. Thanks! I did actually pull the muscle stitches next to my belly button. I thought this might be the case but at the same time thought surely it doesn't take this long to heal. Maybe it does????
  22. BINGO! Hurts when I'm driving the most and when I sit at my desk. No pain when I stand or lay down. Craziness!
  23. I believe I read on here that you really need to eat (some) carbs and up your calories, especially if your working out, so your body wants to burn them. Otherwise it will try to hold on to everything because it thinks it's going into starvation mode. If I'm wrong, Please someone correct me. I am only three weeks out and by no means consider myself and expert.
  24. Today I have been sleeved for 3 weeks. I have some really annoying pain on my left side that wraps around to the left side of my back and just hurts all day long unless I'm standing. Has anyone had the same thing? If so, how long does it last? I thought maybe it was the stitch I pulled and maybe over-compensating with those other muscles but I just don't know. Someone please help. PS. The scale says that I have only lost 2lbs this week (but Aunt Flo is in the house too).
  25. I laughed so hard I had people coming in my office to see what I was doing! I'm really happy for you and you have a wonderful attitude.
