So I am 5 weeks post op today and I had been feeling really bad and not able to keep any food down since Friday so yesterday I emailed my symptoms to my sergeon he called me right back and said get in your car and make the two hour drive to the hospital I think you might have a leak..... Well I did have a small leak so now I am in the hospital and they are going to put a feeding tube in! This is very scary to me and I just thought I could post and get support and maybe if so has questions I could answer just ask
  3. So i started looking for recipes and found some very good ones for oopsie bread or rolls or what ever you want to call them and i just made them and OH MY GOSH! they are amazing I am enjoying a turkey sandwich witih tomatoe and onion it is so awesome!!!! Anyone who has not tried them give them a try...... Recipe 3 large eggs 1 packet of Splenda 1 dash salt 1 pinch cream of tartar 3 ounces cream cheese Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Separate the eggs and add Splenda, salt, and cream cheese to the yolks. Use a mixer to combine the ingredients together. In a separate bowl, whip egg whites and cream of tartar until stiff (if you're using the same mixer, mix the whites first and then the yolk mixture). Using a spatula, gradually fold the egg yolk mixture into the white mixture, being careful not to break down the whites. Spray a cookie sheet with non-stick spray and spoon the mixture onto the sheet, making 6 mounds. Flatten each mound slightly. Bake about 30 minutes (You want them slightly softer, not crumbly). Let cool on the sheet for a few minutes, and then remove to a rack and allow them to cool. Store them in a bread sack or a ziplock bag to keep them from drying out. Makes 6 @ about 85 calories a piece, >1 carb per.
