I ride as well. I am 45 lbs. lighter now and it feels great to ride. After I am done loosing I am going to have to respring my XR650R. It is set up for a 280 lbs. rider. Are you gonna redo your suspeinsion on that Yammie? I thought about getteing a lighter bike but I ride open desert so the XR is perfect. It feels alot faster with some of the rider weight gone. It almost feels like a MX bike with the springs I have on it now, and I dont bottom out when hitting some small jumps. I am glad to see other people who ride getting the lap band. Thanks Rob
