Dear friends, I came back from Peru just today and didn't log in while I was there. I'm so glad to report that my surgery was a total success! I cannot believe it all went so fast. My recovery has been amazing: no complications at all. So far it's been very easy and I'd recommend this surgery to anybody suffering from overweight and obesity. My surgery was laparoscopic which made it even easier on the recovery. I stayed for two days at the hospital and during that time, the only thing that bothered me was the pressure in the chest, as if I had a tight belt around; day 3, the pressure was totally gone; amazing! I am still on my liquid diet and tomorrow I should start two weeks of creams; after that, I will start a week on pure?s and after that, solids. So far I have lost almost 13 pounds counting from the pre-op week. However, it feels even more because my clothes don't fit me anymore; I am soooo happy! Please ask me questions if you wish. I'll keep you posted on how i'm doing.
