I am 5 days post op and I also teetered the scale before surgery. Now that I have the sleeve, I do not have the cravings to eat like before. I think it was mu nerves that caused me to want to eat my last meal every day. It was difficult for me, my doctor was angry with me and voiced her thoughts about me not losing if I did not change my ways. After 5 days I lost a total of 10 pounds. I have 60 more to go. :confused1:I am five days post surgery and every thing seems to be fine except I get this feeling of discomfort every so many hours a day. I have been taking my pain meds to help me feel better. I would like to know if anyone else has this problem? I initially thought it was a full feeling, but there are times when I have not eaten and I feel this way. I also thought it was my body adjusting to having to go to the restroom and I thought it was associated with gas. It does not really cause me pain but i get short of breathe from it until the meds start to work. Any ideas or help on this would be appreaciated.
