I saw your ticker. You are doing great. I just got a call from Dr. Hoehn's office. They finally have all my paperwork and I can schedule. However, I am starting a new job on Monday and need to check with them about best time to be gone. Sooooooooo - I guess I am finally almost there! I can't believe you have already lost 70 pounds!!!! If you have time, post a couple of progress pictures, I would love to see them. Keep up the good work. You should be very proud of yourself. How about those Chiefs!!! (I love football too!)

Just wanted to say you are going great! I joined the board about the time you were having surgery and read your posts often. I am finally getting my surgery date (probably Nov 10) and am trying to gear up for this life style change! My starting weight is about where you were on your surgery date so have followed your progress. You are doing great!! Hope we can stay in touch, I could sure use some advice from someone who has been there!! Take care and keep up the good work!!!

I saw a post you wrote about life style cookies and horton's coffee. I am just getting ready to have surgery and am not looking forward to giving up my coffee. What are life style cookies and Horton's coffee and where do you find them??

Welcome! There are a lot of wonderful and supportive people on this forum. Congratulations on your date - it will be here before you know it. I am waiting for my date, but think it will probably be in September!

Great news. August 17 will be here before you know it! I'm scheduled for EGD on August 4 and complete psycology evalation next week too --- then should be ready to schedule surgery. Yikes!!!

I did finally hear from psyc evaluation on Friday and they finally completed it and indicated they were sending to Dr. so hopefully will have a date next week. Any words of wisdom for me???

Thanks for the note. Let me know how your appointment with Dr. Hoehn goes and any information you want to share would be much appreciated. I called Billie today to see if I could get my date and they are waiting on psyc evaluation. I called psyc provider and left a message to get evaluation clearance to Dr. as soon as possible. I guess I am ready to get on with the show! Glad you are hanging in there with preop diet! Just think where you will be at Christmas this year---that's exciting!! Take care and stay in touch.

Thanks for checking on me! Unfortunately, no date yet. I am hopeful that I will know something later this week......I seem to be out of control on my eating these days. Worse than usual. Not sure what that is all about....need to reign myself in. Did you have a preop diet? Any trouble staying on track? I wonder if I'll even be able to do my 2 week preop diet (clear liquids and 1 yogurt a day). Thanks for listening to me ramble. Stay in touch.
