    Prolab whey protein

Do you have a store where you can sample it? Some GNC stores have samples available so you can try the products before purchasing a large supply. Hope that helps, I have not tried this one so I cannot offer any advice on it.

    Lotion on incision sites?

If they are hurting .. neosporin has a ointment with pain reliever in it also. It works wonders. : )
  3. The decision for me is the sleeve because of the long term weight loss success. I know several people personally that have had the band and it worked for awhile but then they were back into bad habbits and are now in the same boat they were in before the band. It is a personal choice... I would also talk to your surgeon. I was surprised at the response my surgeon gave me. He said he would never talk someone out of getting the lapband but he was glad I had changed my mind to the sleeve. If you search online there are complications from both procedures. I decided on the sleeve because I did not want anything in my body. - but like I said before it is a very personal choice. :smile1: I wish you all the best in your journey.

    Post-surgery psych support?

definitely look for additional support if you know already that you will need it, it makes perfect sense to set yourself up with a support network. This forum is a great resource but I will definitely be looking for more support after the surgery. Sleeve sisters and brothers are willing to help toO! :smile1:

    help :(

If you are feeling a lot of pain and even if you are just unsure I would call your surgeon. It never hurts to touch base. They will know what the normal range is and what signs you should watch for... Hope you feel better today.
  6. Popcorn is my favorite!! We usually try to hit the movies on a weekend before noon, there are no lines and the popcorn is fresh.
  7. I understand 100% I am an emotional wreck lately. Stress at work and in my family just adds to it. I am sure that surgery is another 100% to the stress. I hope that things feel better for you soon. I know that for me food is my way of coping with all of the pressures I have in life... It is going to be one hell of a learning curve to find other ways to handle these feelings. Try not to be to hard on yourself.
  8. I hope you are feeling better, that must have been a very frightening experience. I can only imagine how you felt. I hope that you are doing well. Like the rest of the posters I did not see your original posting. : (

    Shame!!! Shame on me!

I am with you, I think everyone has the same feelings now and then. I agree with everyone about not spending time with these feelings... I think of them as friends that are no longer welcome. You know them but you don't have to hang out with them anymore hahaha. I am working on doubt too... I keep telling him that I don't have time right now to include doubt in my life so he should just shove off. ROFL Believe it or not it really works!
  14. I hope everything comes through soon for both of you!!... sorry to hear you have had such a time of it. : (
