  1. I have never been on a plane before and it just occured to me that I might have to buy more than one seat. I'm 5'6" and 265. I fit into all other seats just fine but I've heard airplanes are smaller. I would be mortified to get there and find I need an extra seat at the last minute. Do you think I would need to buy an extra seat?
  2. I got a blood clot back in 03 and a pulmonary embolism as a result. First if you are a smoker stop now and dont eat/take a lot of Vit K. Moving your legs, massaging them, walking, moving toes, lifting them up will help. My blood clot felt like achy pain behind my knees and it would get better if I moved. I also felt a sense of doom which they say is common. When it went ot my lungs I couldnt' breath. Take some baby asprine with you as a blood thinner and move around a lot.

    Totally obsessed with WLS

I am in the same boat. I haven't found a way to pay for my surgery yet but I have been on these boards every day for almost two months now. When something that is weight related happens I just say to myself, soon I will be thin, and it just rolls of my back. I constantly think of what I'll beable to do once I get thinner like joining a hiphop dance class and walking for miles and miles. I'm right there with you on obsessing.
  11. Sounds great. Thanks for sharing your story with us!

Share your surgeon with me please  I have been reasearching the last week or so emailing and calling. I am looking for a surgeon who has done at least 200 Sleeves. 8 wks post opt. update (2 weeks late)

I haven't had my sleeve yet but I will tell you on my most sucessful diet I was eating 1200 calories a day and working out and losing about a pound a day consistantly. I bet with a little bump up in your calorie intake your metabolism will start burning more.
