  1. Glad to hear you both enjoyed your vacations and still lost weight. How cool is that?
  2. Jerry, that is super fantastic!!!!! huge gratz.
  3. Home already, that's sweet! Take care and let us know how you do.
  4. Sounds like you had a wonderful experience. I am thrilled for you. Best of luck as you recover.
  5. I never thought that I would consider my icemaker, inadequate. LOL I am planning on picking up some ice trays today! :bored0:
  6. That must have been so exciting. WTG.
  7. I did not have those issues with my dr. I have to say, I think it was very unprofessional to question your motives since you are a single mother. That was really out of line in my opinion. Your doctors role is to advise you regarding your health, not to judge you as a person or a mother. I would have been disapointed too after a meeting like that, but I would have been more angry than anything.
  8. Gratz on the success, keep up the good work.
  9. That's a good idea for puree. Mini, the ice cube trick...very clever.
  10. Hang in there, you can do it. It's scary but will be over before you know it.
  11. WOW, you have really done great. Gratz, you will be at goal before you know it.
  12. Bisques as a rule are VERY high in fat. But, during my liquid phase, I had some crawfish bisque a few times. I got soooooo sick of chicken broth and canned cream soups taste like crap. It is more important in the beginning to get your fluids in than it is to worry about the calories or carbs. I have to tell you that the bisque was very soothing as well. As long as there are no lumps or bumps, you should be fine. If you can add some unflavored protein to it...even better. Just be careful to not add to much or the consistency is funky.
  13. Welcome and best of luck to you.
  14. No doubt this will be a long night for you. Can't wait to hear from you after though. Best of luck to you. Donna, best of luck to you as well. hugs, Maddie
  15. WTG girl. Not many people can face their fears. You are a brave soul. I wish you the very, very best.
  16. WOO HOO, I am so happy your stall is over. I know it can be so frustrating. 50 lbs, WOW. Huge grats, you deserve it.:001_tongue:
  17. Welcome, and congrats on making the choice for a better, healthier life. Best of luck.
  18. Glad you got some relief and YAY 8 more lbs! I tell you what though, I would be terrified to take a fluid pill. I'm still struggling so hard to get my daily fluid in. WTG girl.
  19. I guess you are about ready to go into surgery now. Hopefully they have already given you something to relax, hehe. I'm sure you will do great, I have heard wonderful things about Dr Nick. Let us know how you are doing when you have the chance. Take care.
  20. Gratz on reaching such a milestone on your journey. It is refreshing to hear of someone truly appreciating the place they are at now instead of obsessing about the finish line. I think most of us miss out on relishing real achievements because we don't "live in the now" and take the time to enjoy what we have accomplished. Thanks for the eye opener and best of luck on your continued success.
  21. Great list, the main thing I would add, is Chap stick. My lips were soooo dry after surgery.
  22. Well done Angie! Hope you have a great vacation.
  23. After 4 weeks, 3 more days is nothing. I know you can hang in there a few more days. Just think of how nice it will be to have those first few bites of regular food.
