  1. So basically I will still have to learn how to have will power and self control. For some reason I thought that the surgery would still allow me to eat bad things and lose weight because you're not having so much of it. I probably should do some sort of counseling because you made an excellent point on how they do surgery on our stomach's and not our brains...and my brain is the biggest problem yet.

  2. Hi. You seem like the mother of the VSG world with all the great advice :) so I wanted to ask you...Is it hard to stay away from junk food? I am like a junk food junkie and I am very afraid of gaining the weight back. My surgery is scheduled for 6/8/10. Is the diet hard to do? Will I gain weight again?

  3. Hi DeeDee, Just stopping by to say that looking through your progress has really inspired me. I am scheduled to get my sleeve next month and I hope I look as good as you do!

  4. My surgery is being performed by Dr. Miguel Angel Rojas Pineda in Tijuana, MX and this is his website...has anyone else on this website used him? He is a gastroenterologist and my family has used him for other things. I am the first one in my family to be getting wls. Here is his website Mar Surgery - Home

  5. I am so excited/worried/anxious, etc. about my surgery! It's scheduled for 6.08.10 and I couldn't be more ready. I am 22 years old and I've been doing the same old yo-yo with going up and down in weight. My mom has been trying to convince me to do this for about 3 years now and I've finally come around. I'm ready to start living my life the way I've wanted to. I'm so tired of people saying to me, "You have such a pretty face"...like in other words saying (if only you had the body to match). I can't wait guys!
