Hi, I'm going to book my surgery for November. I still haven't decided on the regular vsg or the new procedure. I'm 200 pounds although many people don't believe me when i tell them that. LOL anyway, i still have not decided. keep me posted on your progress

Hi, please let me know how your doing. Also, I'm trying to get others together on this forum that has had the same procedure. If you know of any others please let me know. If they don't mind. It seems that several people are unaware and have misleading info concerning the procedure. I hope that all is well with you.

A memeber recently had the new procedure and said that it was really easy. No pain or anything! I don't know!!

Forgot to mention that there are no long term studies available and that it is reverseable.

Hi, thanks for the message!! It was very encouraging. I know that I want to have the procedure, but I'm not sure if I want the regular VSG or the newer procedure. The thing that I love about the new procedure is that my stomach would not be cut or stapled. Therefore, I don't have to worry about leaks. There are some risk but not as many as with the regular VSG. I'm gonna keep praying about it because I'm still undecided.:scared0:

Thanks so much!!! I feel a little better since I read your message. Several people on here feel that it may not be a good proceudre. Please keep in touch with me a let me know how your doing. My biggest concern with the regular VSG are leaks and all the others. That's a big concern since I'm going out of te country.
