I'm 6 months out and I had it for probably the first 5-6 weeks. It finally resolved itself.

I'm 6 months out and I love eating like a bird! It makes me feel so dang girlie and the fact that i've lost 110 pounds since my all time high, 75 since my sleeve means I don't have to worry about breaking the chairs at restaurants like I used to.

Congratulations on the awesome comments and the ability to enjoy them! I find myself on the other end of it, when I get a compliment I get REALLY uncomfortable, like I just want to hide away. I know its bizarre like me, LOL.

Lucygoose you sound JUST like me I'm in the same boat.
It makes me stay away from some threads where people are all "I love my sleeve" lately. I feel like such a failure. Until that scale moves down in a substantial manner I'm really scared.

Its depressing. I think I need alot more help than a few sheets of paper stapled together from my doc letting me know all about the RNY diet.

Same for me but I'm so worried the 2 pounds is it for another 3 weeks.

I take Nexium cause it works for me and my insurance of course doesn't cover it. Before surgery I could take one Nexium every 3-4 days and it would take care of the gerd.

Its going to be here super quick.
Do you know of anyone who had the lap band and lost enough to be under a 35BMI and then got insurance to pay for a revision to a sleeve?
My friend had one and is stuck at a BMI of about 32 now. She really wants to get a sleeve.

FIrst I want to say THANK YOU to Tiffykins for directing me to this site back on Nov 13th from the OH boards.
My Doctor suggested a sleeve instead of a rny and told me to research it and from what I'm able to see, this is the reason that I was denied by insurance last January (DH company's bariatric exclusion).
So now I'm self pay and I'm choosing what I want for myself and reading all your stories has made me realize that this is the surgery for me.
I have my preop fasting bloodwork business on Monday and my surgery is scheduled for December 9th at AGH in Pittsburgh!
December 9th... hmmm... will that mean I'm a Sagitarrius now instead of a Virgo?

Good Luck!

That is great to know cant' wait to tell my DH. I'm so glad I was directed to this site.
Its the amount that is 7.5% above your AGI. So if you make 50K (adjusted gross) a year you can deduct anything over $3750.
