Hey there Rene - I went to my 2nd surgeon today....LOOOOOOOOVE HIM!!!!! and his PA!!!!! I'm doing it!!!! Hopefully it will happen mid January...I'm jumping on the Sleeve train...I need to get all my preop done and then once the insurance changes 1/1 they will submit to the new insurance for approval and hopefully all will go well!!!! WOOHOOO!!!! How have you been doing preparing mentally for your new way of life????????

WOW!!!! Good for you.....How'd you get a date already? Do you have to do all kinds of pre-ops??? I'm really excited for you...I have an appt next tuesday with another surgeon. I'm looking forward to that discussion...

I'm interested in what you found out today. I actually decided over the weekend to try another surgeon. I wasn't thrilled with the one I met. He's only done 10 sleeves and has had 2 complications. I didn't like those numbers at all.

You made me laugh out loud because I haven't been able to do any work, just read, read, read about the sleeve.....I keep trying to find people who hate it or regret it and I haven't found many.....

Hi there! Well I went for my first surg consult today...I have a ton of pre-op tests....ugh...Hubby seemed concerned all of a sudden about the surgery, but then followed it up with are you sure insurance will pay? So who knows what his concerns are really.....
