    when do others notice?

I haven't had the wls yet but I have lost weight in the past (many times!). I notice that when I lose enough weight that men start to "check me out", it makes me feel a bit uncomfortable. In fact, I dont like it at all. Being fat is my shield. It keeps me safe from leers and unwanted attention. I dont know, maybe its a lack of self esteem. I just worry about that in the future (when I do have wls) about how I will deal with the attention I might receive.
  2. I read an article the other day, in mens health (Can't help it. Hubby leaves it on the bathroom counter) that might explain this. In the article it said you should not brush your teeth after every meal unless you wait at least 15 mins or you could actually do more harm then good for your teeth. When you eat, the acid in food softens the enamel of your teeth. So if you brush your teeth right away, you are brushing away the protective enamel of your teeth. So I'm guessing if you vomit, it would be highly acidic and soften the enamel of your teeth. Not waiting 15 mins before brushing could cause teeth problems down the road. Just my guess but makes sense to me.

    delicate subject

Well I haven't had wls surgery yet but I have had 2 c-sections. It's a little tricky but not to painful. Of course I will admit, I was much small then so it was easier to reach. You might want to get a squirt bottle and fill it with warm water, if you have problems or pain. I know it sounds weird but thats what my dr told me after I had my babies and it helped.
