  1. We are talking about BEER! . Sent from my iPhone using VST
  2. Oh and full orange juice is far better a choice than friggin Cookies or ice cream. Just make smart choices, don't repeat what brought you here. If you have to ask if its okay to eat, it probably isnt. Sent from my iPhone using VST
  3. The slurpee? No it's not. Sent from my iPhone using VST
  4. I used a body pillow and supported my torso with it when laying on my side. Made a world of difference Sent from my iPhone using VST
  5. In less than a heartbeat. ZERO regrets. Loving my life. I'm almost 7 months out from surgery. Love love LOVE my decision Sent from my iPhone using VST
  6. I love this!!! I was at a hotel this weekend with another girl from work who is in much better shape Than I am - but the guys were checking ME out. She was kinda pissy about that haha Sent from my iPhone using VST
  7. Agreed! Best thing I ever did. I had no side effects. My hubby had very Vivid and kinky dreams. If you DO have uncomfortable aide effects, don't try to power through them - stop taking it and tell your doc. They're extremely rare, but can happen Sent from my iPhone using VST
  8. Add in a few more rich Snacks a day. Paula Deen butter cake is always a good one Sent from my iPhone using VST
  9. I felt so great after my surgery it was only a few days. Heck I drove home from the airport! Sent from my iPhone using VST
  10. Thanks for the kind words - it has hit us very hard here. I live about 3 miles from the theater that this happened at. We're a strong community and we will overcome this!
  11. I'm just glad you're okay! Onward to recovery!
  12. I'm not near goal. I'm well on my way though. About the halfway point. I have dropped 17 points from my BMI. I drop another 17 points and I'll be extremely happy I'm pretty happy now, don't get me wrong - I keep seeing progress. I know I need to get busier with exercise and I am actually - I do a ton more now. Workout regimen is coming together and will be put into action. My back is feeling so much better. Between the intolerable heat and my busy schedule, I wasn't able to really do too much as far as actual "workouts" but hiking in the mountains and running all over the place, shopping, cleaning, taking the dogs for walks, and playing outside has really increased my activity levels

actually yes, I got diagnosed with a liver disease and during treatment for that, in order to keep my liver and kidneys from failing, I was put on HUGE amounts of steroids - which then caused steroid secreting tumors in my body, which created a huge weight gain. I gained weight from breathing. After the sleeve and having the tumors removed, life has been GRAND.
  14. If its a time release, it will lose its intended effect. If you need to cut a pill in half, ask your doctor to switch you to a non-time release version of the pill.
  15. Seeing after losing over 100 lbs what I'm going to have to have done - My skin is actually bouncing back pretty good so far, but it won't after I lose another 100 lbs, I'm quite sure of that. So...my list for what's going to be done (hopefully all at the same time) 1. Put the "girls" back where they belong 2. Arms 3. Tummy tuck 4. Lower body lift I think all this combined is a "full" body lift. My insurance that i have now will pay for at least some of it - i know they pay for the "removal of excess skin after weight loss" and I know they pay for breast reductions, which I'll have along with the surgery (I don't ever gain or lose there - I've always had sizable boobs) So I'm saving now for the rest of the cost. Looking for an exceptional plastic surgeon here in Denver - don't really want to travel for this one, but I will if i can't find a doc I like
  16. Theater popcorn has bout 2000 calories in butter alone - that's probably why. I eat popcorn maybe once every year so if I eat it at the theater, I think I'm ok If its a common thing, make sure you're limiting your serving size and what you put on it - My husband loves popcorn so I get him the 100 calorie serving size bags - that way he has enough, but doesn't gorge on it.
  17. If its not a time release - but check with your pharmacist.
  18. You should always do what you can to put yourself in better health before surgery. This is a GREAT plan. Keep working toward what you need to do to put yourself in the best condition you can. It will help with not only making sure there are less complications, but also will aide in your recovery.
  19. When I hand a tumor removed fromu breast, I was awake during it and they were very very concerned about keeping the unaffected areas covered. Even told me I could keep my shorts on! Sent from my iPhone using VST
  20. Normal weight loss is a relative term. We are very different. I probably have a whole lot more to lose than you do. We were sleeved about the same time, I'm down about 115 lbs, I have another 115 to go Sent from my iPhone using VST
  21. 5 months and over 100 lbs down and I eat a banana every day. there's a huge difference between carbs in white bread and carbs in bananas. Yes, they are given to people who need to gain weight because of the NUTRIENTS in them- the same nutrients we still need. Sent from my iPhone using VST
  22. I'm sittin here right now at the salon. I thought I lost enough hair to make wigs for a village of bald pygmys. My stylist says "man you have a lot of hair! " and he saw me before too. Sent from my iPhone using VST
  23. I think it's a bad idea to ever sabotage yourself to get what you want. That being said, drink the Water before, leave your shooed on, pockets full of change, etc. the metformin IS enough for BCBS in most cases. I know several people approved as pre-diabetic. Sent from my iPhone using VST
