I'll tell you, it is admitting you have something to travel to. Knowing you have something to fix, or complete. Taking personal and full responsibility for it and taking action.

  15. Before you use the word "ONLY" in anything describing your weight loss or your efforts... try first saying the sentence without it. Ahhh now isn't that much better? ;o)

  16. One will never be able to cure an addiction and an emotional problem with a physical one. The ONLY thing the Sleeve will keep you from doing is eating too much at your regular meal time. Everything else most will find out is up to the individual.

  17. It is important to take a look in the mirror every morning and say something positive from yourself to yourself. You are your own worst critic, but you can become your own best ally. Try this on for starters: "I am stronger than my enemy, and I am dedicated to creating a healthy body and mind!"

  19. Question: Why are Doritos so addictive? Answer: Monosodium Glutamate. Almost every single flavor of Doritos has this highly addictive additive, which to no surprise can cause obesity as well. Now, it's just my opinion it causes obesity because those who do indulge in them eat far too much of it.

  20. What you are eating is not the enemy so much as how much you are eating is. If what you are eating provides nutrients in some form then it is good to consume it. Just make sure it's not going over your calorie and balance limits. =)

  22. Eating should not be seen as a necessary Evil. We need sustenance to live and stay alive. It's WHAT we put into our bodies that make the difference. Having a good relationship with food does not mean being able to avoid it, rather it entails making changes to ensure we are nourishing ourselves with proper nutrition.

  23. MY 5 YEAR PLAN begins with taking courses in my local College. I am studying for a Bachelor in Nutrition Science with a Minor in Fitness Instruction. I also plan to take other courses that will assist me in teaching others to use my knowledge and apply it to their own lives. I want to give back to my weight loss community!! I will work specifically with Super Obese and Bariatric Patients.
