  1. What do y'all experience when you are really stuck? And what do you do about it? How do you handle it? Just wondering. I don't have too much Fluid in my band - maybe 5 cc's and I can't eat much solid food. In fact, I can't eat much of anything with substance until late afternoon / evening. So 3/4 of the day I eat things like yogurt, Protein Shakes, cottage cheese, Soup, grits, etc. any pointers or suggestions are welcome!? :)

  2. Hey 5.0! Welcome back! Hope your weight loss is going better than mine! I have not done as well as I had hoped over the past 5 weeks (since last fill) but I had I had another fill on Tuesday .5 cc - hoping it gets the scales moving! I must get myself moving too! Good spirits here! It's a process and I'm making progress - even if it's slow moving right now! Lol

  3. Ok y'all! I have been kinda nauseous lately. I can't tell if it's the band or what. I've been feeling bloated, tummy kinda yucky, things have gotten stuck a good bit lately and yesterday I had my worst "stuck" episode ever. Since then I've not eaten a whole lot. I don't know if this extreme cold weather is affecting things internally or what. Anybody have any thoughts on this? I go for a fill Tuesday. May or may not get an adjustment if I'm still feeling this way.

  4. I weigh almost daily as well. I have felt so bloated the last few days. My weight loss has really stalled. Ugh I'm frustrated but I'm fairly certain it's my own fault! This cold weather is killing me so my old habits of wanting to "munch" are getting to me I believe. Ready for warm weather and my 2nd fill (Tuesday)!

  5. I hate to be nosey y'all but how much have you all lost since you were banded. I was banded September 26th and I'm down approx 30 to 33 lbs (it varies daily). I'm just curious. I'm going to be honest, I am not really exercising although I am a nurse and work my butt off at work and mom to a busy 2 year old. So that keeps me pretty mobile. I don't eat tons of Protein like I should, I'm not drinking as much Water as I should and I'm not making the best food choices in the world. That being said, I'm not eating as much as I was obviously and I'm not eating fast food everyday, etc etc. anyway I still have lots of work to do. Just wanting to know how everyone is progressing...:)

  6. You may be gaining muscle weight. Especially if your weight training. That's a good thing. You can try to increase your cardio or introduce something new to move the scales. Apparently our bodies become conditioned easily and need work out changes so that we continue to lose weight and add muscle! That's the way I understand it anyway!

  7. I haven't dropped a whole lot since December 18th. I think the holidays got me. Not that I was able to eat a lot - just not good choices. The Christmas goodies went down fairly easy. I've probably only lost about 5 additional pounds. Next fill scheduled for January 28 so I'm going to work harder and try to lose more weight between now and then! I've definitely experienced more stuck / sticky moments since the last one! I'm learning more and more everyday with what I can or can't eat and even more about the mechanics of eating! Slowing down and chewing! Hope everyone is doing great!!

  8. My second fill on Wednesday. Have had an official weight since November 6th but I weigh daily at home (or every other day) and I think I have had a little weight loss since I received .5cc added to my band. Hoping for more and hope to want less food. We shall see! I know I'm responsible for this tool I have and love so I am trying to better with my food and only eat or drink when I'm truly hungry. Just got to start exercising!!

  9. I get that pain sometimes too! And I never thought about it before but it usually is after I have eaten something that seems to have passed through easily. Hmmm interesting. I'm starting over AGAIN tomorrow and it's healthy choices for me! It's time to get back to eating to live instead of living to eat. Ugh - I've got to get my brain on board again! My next fill will help assuming I get more than .5 cc's!! Lol

  10. Like I was saying - I'm not making the best decisions and I'm aware of that but I can literally eat anything I want to eat right now. I get full. And I'm not eating as much as I was prior to band but I definitely more than I was eating a month ago. It is frustrating because I want to feel that feeling again. I want the full feeling. I want to feel some restriction at least and I'm not. I have not lost any additional weight since getting my first fill a month and a half ago. I weighed myself at the hospital today and was very disappointed. I was really hoping to be down 30 lbs by the end of year. That doesn't look like it's going to happen. In fact, before I was banded I was shooting for 50 lbs not knowing it wouldn't be that easy. I should be exercising and eating better. I am going to do better. I need to get my act together. Weighing today really made me sad :(

  11. I'm struggling over here...I'm fairly certain I haven't gained. But I'm hungrier more and more. I had my first fill early November - I think it was the 6th. I only got .5cc's in my 10 cc band. I get another fill December 18th and it can't come soon enough! I know I'm not doing all I can be doing by not making the right choices :(

It's been hard with the holidays and with being able to eat most anything. Really hoping to get more motivated with my next fill. How much do you all have in your bands now? Are you losing more with each fill? Noticing differences? Need some motivation and good fill stories with good results! Please :)
