  1. LOL... that is too cute!
  2. Ive re-read my response several times - and I hope I was making sense. You know how things make sense in your head and not much elsewhere (in my case, this happens too often).
  3. JUST FOR YOU - I just went and threw the rest of the "things" away. I hate wet slimy stinky fish.
  4. Jenna, many times Ive tried to seach for something that Ive posted on - and cant find it using the seach field. But I agree... too many NEW threads with the same old questions.
  5. Get this... The cutest little G.S. (even had a front tooth missing) told me that LAST Friday, they sold over 150 boxes doing that exact thing.... (she was so proud to tell me this) 150 boxes in 1 afternoon - approx 4 hours of work. Thank God I was sick in bed last Friday afternoon. Or it may have been 152 boxes they had sold.
  6. Hey Darcy, I was just wondering if you had a "no coffee morning"? hehe
  7. I mean "darn" good. They were so DARN good.
  8. He was JUST a kid, and I felt sorry for him. And of COARSE I got rid of the cookies.... they are safe and sound in my guts. I know, I slipped.... BIG. Ate 1/2 the box (1 tube) of the shortbread ones while waiting for Anne. ......but they were so damn good! **licking my fingers**
  9. Jenna, I was thinking it was her furry face. I know of a really good place that does laser hair removal... LOL Maybe it was the clothes you had on???
  10. You're NOT gonna believe this... I just went to p/u my 5yr old from Art class. I turned a corner and noticed about 15 kids at a house yelling at cars and waving boxes at them. I thought they had a lemonade stand going. Nope, wasnt lemonade they were selling! It was G. S. cookies. A 12 yr old boy started CHASING my van yelling, "COME BUY SOME COOKIES!!!!! HEYYYYY!! COME BACK!!!" I promise to God this is real. I bought 2 boxes. This is Diane's fault, right?
  11. My analogy of the band (dieting) is alot like religion... When I feel far from God and I'm ready to get "right" - well... the Protestants "re-dedicate" themselves and I (Catholic) go to "confession". Basically - there is an action that I have to perform in order to feel like Im "starting over". Whether its religion or weightloss. For me to "get back on the wagon", I MUST perform some action. Just waking up one morning with a new mind set isnt enough. I need that action part to make it genuine (just like the religion thing). Like? Get a fill. Or go 2 days w/o eating carbs (God help me). Sometimes, by just visiting with the surgeons office staff, I feel like Im "re-dedicating" myself to this journey. What about a local LIVE support group? Sometimes that helps get one "back on track". Regardless, youve come here for help. Thats a BIG step in the right direction.
  12. Wheetsin, IF she could afford it, you are certain she would have WLS done? And if so, which one? Going with what P'Nut said, my opinion is to pay for the surgery then present it to her as a gift. This way she couldnt refuse it. You could tell her that you'll lose the money if she didnt do it. I say go for it. Its your mom! The ONLY mom you'll ever have! (((BIG hugs))) to you for loving her so much (Id do the same for my mom too). :clap2:
  13. I dont think this really has ANYTHING to do with the band. I've had this issue pre-banding as well as post banding. :phanvan
  14. Now, WHY didnt I think of this??? wonderful solution! Darcy, funny you bring this up *winky-wink*.... Ive been having a problem with my blood sugar dropping too. My problem only happens in the morning - NEVER afternoon or evening. And it seems to happen when I eat a protien for Breakfast. When I drink a shake, it may still happen - but to a lesser degree. On another thread (something about hypoglycemic's), I posted this problem. I think it was Wheetsin that linked it to my morning coffee. I had 3-4 cups loaded with sugar and cream. She said the coffee spiked my insulin. Im wanting to believe this. After I posted this problem, I developed a "bug" and had to do w/o my morning "fix" (coffee) for 2 mornings. Strange, I didnt have the crash when I didnt have the coffee. But, once I felt better and started my sugary coffee again, it started happening... again! This has something to do with my night time fasting - THEN a BIG boost of sugar. hmmm.....
  15. Yeah Kim! - what a wonderful weightloss victory! Funny how it seems like this happened over night....

Janet - I agree. And like my mom and I were talking about this morning... regardless of WHO the actual A.I. is, most of these top 12 will get some kind of recording contract. Taylor, Chris, Mendisa, Katharine, Paris, Elliot.... (((Elliot is so humble. I like this guy. Actually, a complete personality opposite of Kelli Pickler.)))

    HI Kathy!

Neat idea Kim - thanks! :hat: You know, when I was 12, 13 and 14 - all I wanted to do was stay on the phone. Im assuming all of America's 12, 13, and 14 year olds are same. Thats WHY Kevin "wont go away" (LOL). :mmph:
  19. Well, i went the the grocery store yesterday - twice. Once for groceries, second time with YOUR list of "supplies". Had a better day yesterday, then today. I slipped more today. Im having such a hard time with my blood sugar dropping in the mornings. Give me a week to Iron out my kinks.... youre awesome Baby! Thanks a kazillion!
  20. Eileen - I like this one too. Page Yourself Over The Intercom. Don't Disguise Your Voice. Sometime, when Im Walmarting with my 3 kids, I think Ill do that. :hat:
  21. Kathy, I have friends that actually DO that... LOL. Honestly. My fav is: 18. When Leaving The Zoo, Start Running Towards The Parking Lot, Yelling "run For Your Lives, They're Loose!!"
  22. Susan, **whisper voice ON** its because of THAT thread, Ive decided to keep my big bazoomba's. **whisper voice OFF** Did you notice that most of the "before" pictures were not THAT large. Amazing.
  23. Hey Kim - we're thinking of you. Hope you are bouncing around real soon. God bless~
  24. Karen, There was a thread about a year ago with this exact problem... re: problems with underarm arm odor after WLS. Seems like this problem was restricted to those that only used Secret. Strange, huh? After they switched D.O.'s, everything was fine! I use Dove - and have for years. No problems yet!
