    Bad breath..:((

I do eat carbs I'm not on a deliberate low carb diet. I don't eat bread, Pasta, potato, starchy foods.. I will find out if it could be the bug you suggest heli....pylori. That about sums it up. I could knock you out at 50 yards.. Sent from my GT-S5830 using LapBandTalk
  2. Intelirish does mil stand for monster in law..? Lol. Mothers in law are always critical.. She can't have a clue what your going through.. Its YOUR life changing experience not her's!!! Concentrate on the fact we all love you and are rooting for you all the way!! Sent from my GT-S5830 using LapBandTalk
  3. I had only 3 weeks between fill 1 and 2. I was told that I'd have to wait the full month once the volume in my band was increasing as it takes time for any swelling irritation to settle. I understand your frustration and eagerness to get underway... You'll get there soon. Sent from my GT-S5830 using LapBandTalk

    Weight loss between friends

My entire life is transformed. I can put on my own shoes easily. Bath myself. Wipe my own bum ;( (that was humiliating daily). Amongst a load of other things. 4 months on I'm 86llb down, I can do everything I need to for myself. I walk at least 2 hours a day with my dogs. I've started jogging. I watch what I eat 99% of the time. Its not easy to change that much of your life. I'm proud of me even if he isn't.. Sent from my GT-S5830 using LapBandTalk

    Weight loss between friends

Sadly its not just friends that react like that. It can be family too. My brother bless him was the loudest cheerer on my squad regarding my weight loss and healthier life.. He txt me regularly offering advice support.. Until my sister told him I'd had surgery to help me on my way.. Nothing no contact at all. I took the easy way out.. Easy my bum!! So I txt him its probably easier to accept I needed help than accept my death before 40. You won't need to carry my coffin now!!! Your lovely don't mind ignorant people.. You doing great Sent from my GT-S5830 using LapBandTalk

    My IBS has gone.....

Hi ada since I posted the thread originally I've had only two bouts of diahorrea that were very short lived (unlike the old days) and alot of days of not going at all. A very new concept to me. I also keep a food diary and have come to the conclusion its high stress/emotional states that triggered my episodes. I dodge bread, fried foods and dairy most of the time so its definatly not them. But I do get a very spastic bowel if I'm upset.. Hope you get it sorted and some improvement soon. Sent from my GT-S5830 using LapBandTalk

    JULY 2013 BAND BUDDIES

I'm glad your feeling better.. I only had one incident of feeling too tight after my 2nd fill.. I even went as far as contacting my fill lady in the uk (I'm in ireland) and she said not to worry some people swell alot after fills stay on mushies few more days. It did settle down. The exact same thing after my last fill..but less worried. Sent from my GT-S5830 using LapBandTalk

    6.5cc in 10cc band & Stoked!!

Its a catch 22. Situation for me. I paid for my op I wasnt eligable for it another way. Fat enough yes by far but aside from mobility difficulties and aches no health problems at all.. I've founds this extremely hard at times.. Straight after surgery I was terrified to eat anything so the weight fell off. However as I grew more confident I ate more and got hungrier. I asked for big fills. I've had 3 to get me to 9/5 cc. I know its a matter of trial and error but im finding making right choices when I'm hungry as a bear really hard. Nothing has got stuck thankfully but I can still really eat. I just don't want this to be it. The best I can do..I understand your frustration. Xmas will be a nightmare for me if my appetite isn't in check... Sent from my GT-S5830 using LapBandTalk

    A cry for a friend...

Ah that really is sad life can be s**t at times... I know what you mean by wanting to find someone that gets it.. Its not always easy to do. I've been banded since 3rd july 13.. Most of the time I'm pleased I did it. Not always if I'm honest. Message me anytime... So sorry about your friend.. Sent from my GT-S5830 using LapBandTalk
  25. I was just like that apart from I couldn't eat bread. Still can't. You are able to eat more because your healing and swelling etc is going down. Don't panic try to make healthy choices.. Its a slow process but you'll get there Sent from my GT-S5830 using LapBandTalk
