  1. Okay I am talking about looking at the "BMI" height and weight ratios. I know this is all about being healthy but with my height I could be as little as 131 pounds and as much as 167. Call me crazy but weight less than my 6 foot tall son seems awkward. If you followed that format, do you think you would be healthy looking at the lowest end of the scale?
  2. How is everyone doing? Going Wednesday for my Psyc eval and I will try to get him to push the consult note thru quick..lol
  3. I have blue cross of IL. My biggest worry right now is the insurance changes that are going to be made. I would be devastated to lose all kinds of weight with the hope of a TT through insurance and then it changes.
  4. Aww you have done amazing! Kick up the exercise and see where that gets you.
  5. Congrats on the great start. I hope to be just as happy and successful as you.
  6. I am having my surgery at Good Shepard in Barrington. It's so hard to fit the surgery in with 4 kids schedules, the sooner the better for me!
  7. Okay, maybe not super new to posting but I never officially posted an intro. Since I have decided that the sleeve is for me I wanted to share a little. My name is CC from the suburbs of Chicago. Planned on getting the band but at my consult the doctor said sleeve. So I found you guys and started asking questions, reading stories, and made my decision. I was very scared, still am, about getting my stomach removed but all of your stories have been encouraging. I want to thank everyone of you for sharing your experiences, pictures, and support! Without it I know I would still be scratching my head. Anyway, I have 4 children who are very active. I need to lose 115 pounds to bring me high normal weight but my goal will probably be 136 pounds. Thanks for helping me get started. My Psyc eval is on Wednesday and hope to have surgery by the first weekend in November. I have BCBS IL PPO so all I need is the Psyc eval to be approved. Can't wait to get to know everyone.
  8. Can't wait to be able to say the same.
  9. You too are around the same height and weight. Have you posted any before and during pics?
  10. Do you have any pics? We are close in height and starting weight. Congrats on the hard work!
  11. Wow congrats! I hope to be stating the same in a year.
