Honestly this is a topic brought up all the time it seems. 6 days out isn't terrible. It's different for everybody. Most people post using Milk of Mag or Mirilax. Really just anything intended to get things moving. Try whatever you feel comfortable with. It's all the drugs and anesthetics that create the Constipation and typically the drastic change in diet aids in stopping things up too. Just relax and things will get better.

I was just relived my doc progressed me to mushies. This was a separate measure as we have a total blizzard here in Wyoming and I can't get out of the house to buy any groceries.

Got my staples pulled, have lost 3.8 lbs since Friday and 12 since Thursday. Very happy! My docs RN said that I could advance my diet early towards soft foods, gonna work on cottage cheese in a couple days. She also said to call the week of the 16th if I was getting hungry and she would fill me early. Love her!

How awesome is it to have a forum where people can go and talk about gas, burping, flatulence and BM's and actually get supported and congratulated on it. At least I know where I can find the real people in this world.

I am being banded on September 27th and would love an accountability partner or two. I am 27 and have been married 7 1/2 years and work at my church. (This feels a lot like an E harmony ad). I like long walks on the beach and drinking piña coladas. Hahaha.

I have been obese since I was about 12 and my highest weight was 369lbs in 2008, I am down to 272lbs thru diet and exercise and am getting my lap band next month by Dr. Holloway in Scottsbluff, NE. Can't believe it's actually happening!! I have BCBS Illinois and was approved in 3 days after submitting my paperwork. Looking forward to getting to know y'all!

Congrats! I am having mine on September 26....so we can be in bandster hell together!! Lets hope for a fast recovery!
