  1. Hi! Congrats on your two year anniversary. I hope I am as successful as you have been and feel the same way as you after my surgery. My band date is a little of a month away and I have started having some doubts but it is too late to turn back now. I want to feel better and look better. Thank you for sharing your success with us. Have a good one! shelli:ranger:
  2. Hi Brumbie, From what I understand you should call your surgeon right away as throwing up could cause the band to slip. He probably will prescribe you something. Good luck to you and I hope you feel better. shelli:ranger:
  3. Hi Adabell, Welcome to LBT! :ranger: You never have to be alone when you are on this forum. You will find many friends here that will help you on your way and if you need someone else to talk to just pm me and I will try to help. I have suffered from depression for about 15 years so I do understand how you feel. Take care, shelli:girl_hug:
  4. Hi! Thanks for your tips! I will definitely being trying these as I love my morning coffee!:notagree Do you still drink coffee with caffeine? Did you switch to decaf right after banding or is something you just weren't interested in right after banding? Thanks, shelli:ranger:
  5. Hi! I was just wondering if anyone ever tried putting protein powder in their coffee? Do you think that would work? Thanks, Shelli:ranger:
  6. Hi! Ticker looks good! I wish I could give you some advice about the preop but I will be starting mine in August. I know it must be really really really hard. Did you doctor give you any guidelines to follow? Take care shelli:ranger:

  9. Thank you so much for the inspirational post and for sharing all your feeling about your weight loss so far..... It really helps us prebanders......
  10. Your Welcome! Your tickers look great but I think your BMI is not correct because according to your ticker you only have about 50 pounds to lose and I think that means that you would only be about two feet tall -lol. Check it out and see what you think. I am glad to be of help. shelli:ranger::glasses

  12. No - go to your UserCP on lapbandtalk.com, click on edit signature, and copy and paste into that - don't forget to save changes at the bottom. Then your ticker will be automatic every time you post. I think you use html but can't remember. good luck to you.:ranger:
  13. Go to TickerFactory.com Follow the instructions exactly as they are written. It is a Copy and Paste exercise. Hope this helps you! Shelli:ranger:

  16. Go to tickerfactory.com and follow the directions exactly as they read. After you fill out the info it is kind of a copy and paste exercise. Hope this helps! shelli:ranger:
  17. My surgery is scheduled for August 27th, too! I have to do a preop diet too but I won't pick up that info until the 14th of August. Want to be band buddies? shelli:ranger:
  18. Try to add some Sugar Free Carnation Instant Breakfast to the skim milk. At least this will give you some added protein and keep you more satisfied. I have to do this for 10 days preop but yours sounds so severe. My heart goes out to you!:ranger:
  19. Yup, swimming for me is the best exercise I do for myself. Back and forth is a little boring but if you set a goal like a number of laps that you want to accomplish it makes it a little more fun. We go to my mom's house in the summer where she has an inground pool and I spend hours in the pool and it has always helped with my weight loss(even though I always manage to put the weight back on)(as I am preband). One year when I lost 88 pounds I was swimming everyday, following a 1000 calorie diet, and I was losing a pound a day. The best thing about the pool is that it is like that movie Coccoon where the old people jump in and then they feel like 30 years younger. That's what the pool/swimming does for me. :ranger:
  20. Thanks for posting the interesting article on hair loss! :ranger:
