Protein Powder In Coffee???

Hi! I was just wondering if anyone ever tried putting protein powder in their coffee? Do you think that would work?

Thanks,

I have it every morning for the past year.....several different kinds of protein powders. Mainly use Nectar Cappacino powder in coffee both hot and cold. Vanilla powder makes a great iced latte. Also love Matrix chocolate powder in my coffee....both hot and cold. Micellar Milk in cartons makes a great coffee creamer. So, yes.......you're on the right track. Sometimes a really warm drink is very soothing to the pouch.

BTW.......don't just mix your powder directly into a hot cup of coffee - you'll have a cup of lumpy cooked protein. First just mix the scoop of protein with cool water, stir until smooth, then add your coffee.

Hi! Thanks for your tips! I will definitely being trying these as I love my morning coffee!:notagree

Do you still drink coffee with caffeine? Did you switch to decaf right after banding or is something you just weren't interested in right after banding?

Thanks,

I do instant coffee IN my morning protein shake...along with ice and fresh fruit, extra whey protein, and my chewable vitamin...all in a blender...
