Yeah, it sucks. No way around that!
Thankfully it's only a short period of time, in the grand scheme of things. You can do it!
The best advice I can offer (at one looong week in myself) is to be kind to yourself in every other way you can. Buy your very favorite sugar-free drinks. Get some of your favorite body wash, watch all of your guilty pleasure TV shows, even if they involve beauty pageants or Kardashians, and maybe treat yourself to manicure or facial if possible. Look for any non-food ways to make yourself happy and use them all!
Good luck!
This is so true to be kind to yourself I went to Ulta yesterday on lunch and purchased nail polishes that I've been wanting and make-up. Made me feel ALOT better.

sugar free Popsicles are fine! They pulled me through all my clear liquid diets and still do after a fill. They are my lifesaver along with sugar free Jello.< /p>
Yes I am on day two of my liquid diet no meals at all and I purchased some fudge popsicles last night and OMG they are a life saver....

I started my pre-op liquid diet on yesterday and so far so good. I did want to know if there were any other Protein shakes out there that I could use beside Slim Fast becasue that is what was suggested to me. I'll look into the Premier Protein that someone mentioned earlier.
I am constantly drinking something, whether it be Water, flavored water, Soup or a smoothie also I chew gum inbetween that actuall curbs my appetite. Oh and fudge popsicles those were a life saver last night.
I will be banded on next Friday, September 27th so I pray that I can keep this momentum up.
Good luck

Hello All, I'm new to the site and very excited about my upcoming surgery. My surgery date is September 27th.
I think my hardest challenge will be the two weeks prior liquid diet but I am going to weather that storm and do what needs to be done!!!!

I don't remember the kind I got but they are in a yellow box and they are sugar free but you wouldn't know. They are great. I'm sure I'll go through that box very quickly as I can have them unlimited.
