    Fourth Fill and Phentermine

I would put the phentamine in the BIN.. The band is a life long journey, it's about changing your eating habits and loosing weight at a steady and HEATHY pace.. Whilst there is a market for phentamine, for me the band was going to end my life of fad diets and stupidity.. Last year I lost a stone and some with the aid of phentamine.... I also nearly lost of hubby and kids!! I'm been a mental health nurse for 12 years in the uk.. And nothing has brought me as close to being a patient as phentamine... I wonder is your Dr trying to get his weight record higher for business reasons.. He clearly doesn't understand the life long battles of the banders.!! So in the words of Ernest Cline I would tell your Doctor “You could shove it up your ass and pretend you're a corn dog."
  3. A guess for me it was a little different.. However just like to guys I had battled to maintain my weight for the last 15 years, constantly being on a diet. I think I can be very disciplined which helped me to continually go on diet and loose large amounts of weight. (Putting on 2, loosing 2). Only to then go and put it back on a agin.. I was slowly putting on the weight I lost last summer when I decided I could afford a gastric band.. Thought about it before but due to money and more importantly nice guidelines I was unable to have one. I had a BMI of 30 size 12/14 weight 11.12. So what I heard from friends and family was "your not big enough" "it's unethical" " there is nothing wrong with u" " u only need to loose a stone and go the gym" "your gorg as u are" Well actually that ain't the case... I was considered obese, and therefore risking my health, I had lost and gained 16 stone over the years and I am only 33.. (Biggeat being 14 stone) There is lots of obesity in my family and it was only a matter of time before I got bigger and bigger.. And what I hear from u guys so much is how u wish u had done it earlier. So for me it was prevention.. Most people apart from my hubby and my mum (who are very supportive) think I'm crazy.. Once I give them my explanation they appear to understand more.. And there are some people who think its a great idea.. So just because I had my band fitted at bmi 30 doesn't mean I don't understand everything I hear u guys talk about.. My mind works in that same way. I've often referred to myself (when slimmer) as a fat person in a slim persons body!! So please don't see me as a fraud I am here with the same battle as yourselves, I just have a little leas to loose. Xx

Your having a hard time... We all did at tye beginning and still do, I'm sure that everyone of us have not followed the advice on occasions, know I have bent the rules.. I guess mostly people aren't as honest as u. People... U r being very judgmental!! The point is she new she was breaking the rules.. And I would hope that everyone going into this new the risks and therefore makes these unwise decisions themselves.. We aren't perfect. And doesn't need u lot to preach.. It's a shame u are leaving and don't feel supported thou, as I have found these forums great.. Good luck with your future.. Buy the way.. I waited about 10 before going onto soft food and then another 10 before moving into solids.. Hopefully no harm done, and feel great..

    BMI 27

I had my surgery 4 weeks ago and On the day had a BMI of 29 and no co morbidaties... But the point is I was overweight.. Previously having had a BMI of 34 and sick of 14 years of being on a diet.. Done all diets know to man and lost weight well, but my ability to sustain the loss is poor. I have obesity in my family, and I been fighting a constant battle to not allow my BMI to return to the over 30's. I am only 33 with 3 small children. And don't want to have another 14+ years obsessed with my weight. I know for me the lap band is about prevention not cute. I have lost 4kg already, putting me at 71kg. Finally my battle with food is over, I can now live my life..
