I'm eating my first egg right now...... I mashed up a hard boiled egg with 1 tablespoon of Dukes low fat mayo and a half teaspoon of Mt. Olive' date=' no sugar added relish. I've eaten approx. half and I'm starting to feel full. I'm 4 weeks out today. I've lost 25 pounds since the 2 week pre-op liquid diet. I'm still having difficulty figuring how much is too much till I actually feel it in my chest. I'm eating slowly and taking tiny bites. I use a demitasse spoon, and drink using a sippy cup most of the time. I can't tolerate more then about a 1/2 Tablespoon of liquid at a time. I've never vomited, had occasional reflux, but mostly feel it in my chest when I've eaten too much. Hard to believe 2-3 oz could be too much, but it is depending on what I'm eating.[/quote']I use a demitasse spoon too! We don't seem to use them too often in the house and now that caffeine is out of the picture for a while they may as well be used... Congrats on the 25lbs!

I can reliably do 2 oz and Roger can do 4 oz. it's so predictable it's funny. Enjoy the egg!
It does get predictable doesn't it?

I'm so glad to see everyone seems to be doing so well! I just saw my dietician yesterday and she said eat the whole egg. Its a myth about the yolk, even if you have or had cholesterol problems now or in the past. As long as you only have one a day it doesn't just have to be the egg whites. It's a great Protein and has lots of Vitamins. Plus its the easiest thing to eat after the sleeve in my opinion. So eat on egg lovers! Lol

All I could do was walk for four weeks' date=' then no exercise restrictions.[/quote']That's what I'm now being told. Plus the incision above my belly button the scab came off in the shower so it's not really closed.

I'm actually feeling really well! A little pain in my left side sometimes but that's totally normal. Ill tell you when they say you feel full, there not kidding lol it's like where was this full feeling all along?! I actually drink Muscle Milk Light. You can get the powder or the all ready made. At first I got the powder and was using skim milk in it hoping to get extra Protein, it was just not sitting well with my body. I never got sick, but "TMI" it just went right through me. So i now use Water. The shakes themselves are pretty good though. chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, and strawberry banana are all quite good. I tried peach mango and it was just not my thing. I also tried Core Protein Light which they have at a little mini mart down from my house and that was good too.

Thank you! That's kind of what I was expecting... I was reading that because of the weight loss and small amount of calories your body looses all muscle first so it was good to work out to let your body know you need the muscle so it will target burning up the body fat.

That's where I go too! Dr. Abkin? Do you go to the support groups? I'm gonna try to go to some but my work schedule doesn't really allow me too. Congrats on your surgery soon!
Hey! I just got sleeved on Aug 5th. Two weeks post-op today and I go to Dr. Abkin. I absolutely love him! I'm going to try to get to the next support group. All the nurses at JFK were amazing. If you have any questions feel free to ask. Maybe I'll see you at the office lol.

I am 2 weeks post-op today. Had my sleeve done Aug. 5th. I want to know when it's ok to go to the gym and walk the treadmill? I also LOVE riding my bike, when should I be able to get back to that?
Well today is it, surgery in 3.5 hours.
