  3. Hi all, just thought I would let you all know, I just got my computer back(it had to get a new hard drive) and I got all of my fill taken out. I was having such bad acid reflux at night, I aspirated and feel like crap:tongue_smilie:!!! I will start getting it back in next week when it calms down and feels better. I did get a barium swallow and got to watch the whole thing which I thought was soooo cool. Everything looked good with the band, so I was just too tight. I knew that, but was kinda liking the whole not being hunger ever thing....buttttttttt now I have to behave until next week.
  4. Thanks TX....I will go look at the message. I can't figure out how to get a picture of my sea green and black bike on here...oh well, I will work on it again..

  7. Hi all, I am back. School is almost done, but I am done with my major finals for the semester, just some small stuff to finish up now. Well, I had my bandaversary on the 19th and my husband bought me a new toy. A Trek womans 4900 mountain bike. LOVE IT!!!! We have major mountains here in Idaho, so it is gonna be put to some good use, NOT THAT I DON'T LOVE MY ROAD BIKE!!! It still has not been really warm enough here to get on it and ride. Just an update on my weight, I plateaued (sp??) from October to March and just moved the scale 9 pounds in three weeks!!! And yes, that was from exercising hard again. I loved seeing the nine pounds down!!! It reminded me of the good ole' days of a year ago!!!! J, thanks for the note you sent me!!! Appreciated it!!! I do get on a read once in awhile, and now that school is pretty much done again until fall, I hope to be talking with you all much more. Glad to be back into the exercising mood, and must think of a way to stay in it this next winter....I HATE INDOOR EXERCISE!!!
  8. HI guys!!!! Just thought I would pop in and say hi to ya all...I have read a few times, but school is just hectic and I don't have to time to do anything but school work. After a long winter hiata, I have started exercising again. The good thing, since I stopped exercising, around October, I have not gained one pound.....sooooo I expect the scale to start going down again.... Love ya all...miss ya too!!!!:tt2::tt2::tt2::tt2::tt2:
  9. Hi all..thought I would drop in and say hi...I have NO time to do anything but housework and school work. We are in our phlebotomy and medication class and clinical II and ERH and professional development. This is the last semester before externships so I will be happy about that. I have definitely cleaned up my mouth too J!!! I have gone back to church and started loving Jesus and my life again. I hadn't been to church in 8 years!!!! So, that is my life and I am enjoying it now, just super busy and I am not exercising at all!!!!! So, I need to start that here when the snow melts!!! I HATE exercising in a gym.....it is the worst!!! Love ya all....someday I may get to come and visit with you all for a longer time than 5 minutes!!!! Hope you all are having a great New Year and I will be keeping you all in my prayers!!! God Bless...Deanna
  10. HI all....back to school day for me....yippee...this means only two more semesters and then I can quit feeling like a book.... Having some sort of problem with my band. Not sure what it is yet....one or two small bites and severe pain....going Wednesday for a slight unfill to see if this helps the problem...if not...not sure what is next....hope you all are good and having a great New Years!!! Deanna
  11. Correct!!! I was banded in Idaho Falls also by Dr. Baird and go through the New U Bariatric Clinic for my fills. I did not know that there was an RN that did fills in Pocatello though. I will have to look into that since I live in Pocatello.
  12. Nan, I sent you a private message yesterday.
  13. Here I am....I was playing hide and seek. I now see the whole thing behind people leaving this place....not that I don't love it here...but at one time I had thought that I could never live without being on here every single minute. Hope you are all having a very Merry New Year!!!!!!!!!
  14. Hi everyone....I am busy getting ready for daughters New Years Eve party tonight. Oh boy, am I dense for telling her she could have one....LOL....Anyways, DH and DD go back to their normal lives in a few days and then I will be back on to talk to ya all....Deanna
  15. Hi all....Happy New Years!!!!!!
  16. Um, actually, I remember a fall or something from you too J!!!! In your front yard......I do, I do, I do......I am just too lazy to go back and look it up..... I got a great candle and candle base...and two pair of biking socks.....GREAT STUFF!!!!! THANKS MIKE!!!!!......I will post a picture...
  17. Travelgrl...wow, just wow.....forgiving yourself is the hardest thing to do.
  18. Its ok...and you don't suck....and the goal I have set is for 170....so I do definitely have further to go than that....that just seemed the most reasonable when I was 305...... I do think that I would like to get down to 150...but we will see...if I feel good about myself at 170, I may stay there....who knows......DONE WITH SCHOOL.... B, sucks that you are still pounding away at the papers through Christmas.... HP, I am soooooo glad to see you have emerged from the shell of OT to say hi...
  19. Well, since no one noticed, I will tell you. I lost 7 pounds this month. My ticker is under 220!!!!!!! I am so totally happy!!!:whoo:
  20. I got my SS today!!!!!! I am so excited!!!!!!! Thanks, Big SC
  21. One more final for me........yipppeeeeee and then not another word about school until Jan. 14th.....UGH...that is going to come fast.
  22. Just a note to those who are saying you are OCD.....checking the doors and alarms twice is not OCD. I have OCD. Diagnosed OCD. It is not fun or just something to do. It cripples every aspect of your life. It is not about, "oh, I better check the door before bed!"....it is all night, checking and rechecking and rechecking....ALL NIGHT....so finally as exhaustion hits you as the sun is coming up, it is time to get up and ready for the next day. I am not trying to be obnoxious, but it hits home when I see someone say, I am ocd....when in reality, they have not idea what OCD does to a person. Medication did the trick for me and I have tried many times to go off of it, but I am one of the luck people in the world to not only be fat, but have to take Luvox for the rest of my lift. It works, and I have led a normal life when on it.
  23. BG, I am going to break your fingers. STAY OUT OF THE CHOCOLATE IF YOU WANT THAT SCALE TO MOVE!!!!!!!!
  24. I am honestly coming to believe that way too many people getting the band have no intention of ever exercising. They think that this miracle band is going to make them thin and it is going to be easy sailing all the way. Well, sounds like you know you have to exercise, so that is a plus for you!!! I was very jung ho about exercise for the first 4 months after banding. I lost a large amount of weight in that time too. It has since then slowed down with the likes of college and the cold, but I still do it. I strength train also. The motivation comes and goes for me. Sometimes, I really can't get enough exercise and then sometimes, I don't want to do any. BUT, I am now learning to look at it for my heart and body, not to lose weight. I want to have a healthy body and heart, as well, as a fine looking waist. HTH.
  25. I can see Texas as very doable. My aunt lives there, in Burleson....so, I can totally see that..but, who knows. Have to see what gas is going to do I guess by next summer. J, I bet your happy about school. I have to do three finals next week and then I will be doing the happy dance too!!!
