Ok. I've hit a stall and was curious if it was worth anything. Just keep on keeping on!

Curious if any of you supplemented your weightloss with this supplement. ??

No I'm eating just about anything now... & had no issues with any of it.. after surgery I was on a 2 week liquid diet then 2 weeks of pureed then 2 weeks of slowly introducing other items
Same here. Sugar still doesn't set well with me which is absolutely fine. Great job on the weightloss!

I haven't yet. Are they good?

Been reading your posts. I too am in DFW and Dr. Adam Smith is my surgeon. I was sleeved on Nov. 18. Doing ok. Don't progress too fast. I know the foods can seem boring but you'll get there. I promise. You don't want to cause any issues with your new stomach. So happy for all of you guys and glad you are doing well!!

Awesome success! I too was sleeved on Nov. 18. Have you been cleared to eat anything or have you been on Protein Drinks for a long period of time.

Pre-op is hard. Mine was only 2 weeks long and was nothing but a liquid diet, no meals. I did everything I could to stay preoccupied. My doctor would not operate if I didn't shrink down my liver. I didn't want to show up for surgery and be turned away. You can do it. Believe me, if I could do it you can. So many of us on here didn't think we could. Just keep your eyes on the prize!

That is awesome!! How far out are you post-op?

As a sleeve patient 3 wks post op and drinking Protein Shake after Protein shake, can we have Peanut Butter? I was considering adding some to my shake. Low fat, low sugar. Is there one out there that works for us?

I am in ending week 3. This week I was able to start puréed foods. Not sure how to do this. So I have basically lived on an egg every morning, Protein Shake, and refrained Beans. I've noticed a stall. I haven't lost any weight this week. What have you done in order to consistently lose? What did your dr prescribe as number of carbs and number of Protein?

I don't know. I'm a teacher and today we did a lab. I was on my feet all day moving and twisting around the classroom. Now this pain is so intense if I twist and each time I step with my left leg. The left side is where our stomachs are and that makes me nervous. I feel better when I can push in which makes me think it is the stomach wall healing - muscular pain instead of sleeve issues. Called my dr and asked and the first question they asked me was if I was swollen. But I've been swollen since the surgery and expected to be for 2-4 weeks out. Ugh. I don't know.

I was sleeved on Nov. 18. All has been good and I have progressed well. Starting yesterday I started to get pain on the left side of my stomach. About 2 inches up from my incisions in the left side and under my rib cage I have such serious pain when I move. Feels like a serious stitch like when you run too much. Does anyone have this same pain?

Sleeved on 11/18. I lost 15 on the two week pre op liquid diet. Then have lost 16 since surgery. But I struggling with Protein and Water intake. Definitely not getting in what I should.

Since surgery I am sensitive to lactose, but can do SF pudding. I'm doing an awful job of getting Protein down. Can anyone suggest a Protein Shake that has worked for them if you are lactose sensitive?

I'm a worry wart. So if I were you, I would call the dr tomorrow just to double check. I would hate for you to head into the weekend and it get worse.

And I'm doing great! I was sleeved on Nov. 18. I will admit, the 2 days in the hospital were tough. I also had a hernia repair. Came home and tolerated Clear Liquids really well. No nausea, gas wasn't an issue, and no throwing up. Weighed myself this morning and I'm down 27 lbs. Moved right out if the 300's! Moved to Premiere Protein Shakes this week and they have not settled well with me. Finding that soy milk is working better. Those of you that were lactose intolerant after surgery, did it eventually go away or is this going to be a forever thing?

I've lost 100 lbs and have maintained it very well. Maintained for 5 months. I'm finding myself snacking more with slider foods and I'm getting worried. Anyone else find themselves in this spot? How did you get back on track?
