  1. Yes very painful. My chest was killing me!
  2. Anybody else experiencing a stall. I'm 4 weeks out and haven't lost anything in almost a week. Getting very irritated!!
  3. I had to take mines every 4 hours as well. My left side was a killer for me. Also i developed a hard mass behind my left wound. Doctor told me it was tissue and not to worry. Just wanted to let you know if you get something hard over there as well because I was freaking out in the beginning :-)

  5. I also had to do them after my surgery. I got my husband to do them for me.
  6. I also had gained weight after surgery. Its mainly just gas and Water weight. The weight should fall off in a couple of days.
  7. I'm doing ok. 2 week post op tomorrow (yay). Looking forward to some soft foods. I've developed a small hard mass behind my left incision. Nurse said not to worry but that's not in my vocabulary lol
  8. Thanks. I'm not having any pain from it. I just hope it goes away soon. How long was yours around?
  9. @pebulz I just spoke with my nurse and she said it sounds like its a blood clot and to not be concerned. She said my body should dissolve it and that most people develop one behind the big incision.
  10. Oh no! I have my 2 week post op on Wednesday. Hopefully no infection
  11. I have this same lump on my left side now and I'm 11 days post op. In no pain but I feel it when I touch my incision. Anybody find out what it was? I'm kind of freaking out here.
  12. Hi I had my surgery July 31st. Im 1 week post op today (yay). Taking things one day at a time especially since I have to give myself lovenox shots (I hate these). Anybody else struggle with these shots?
  13. I have not experienced any depression. I'm never hungry. After like 3 days of doing my preop diet I began to not feel hungry and its been the same since.
  14. Hi preopmano. I just literally hit my 1 week post op mark today :-). Everything is going good so far. After surgery I wasn't in too much pain. I do have a lot of gas pain. I also have to give myself lovenox injections everyday (they suck). You will do fine. I just try to remember that the pain that I'm going through right now is temporary and things will get better in the future. Looking forward to shopping! ! Lol

  16. Hello I'm new to this forum. I'm looking for some support :-) . My surgery was 07/31/13. I'm really looking forward to my 2 week post op. I'm so ready to see where this journey takes me.
