I was banded in September 2013.

Went in for a fill two weeks ago to bring my 10cc band to 6.4cc. A week later I was having a hard time eating and heavily stuck episodes. I went back to the dr who did a barium and I had a slight dilation. They took out 2cc and said that we cannot go to 6.4 cc again. I am on liquids only for the next 3 days and then mushie and back to regular food after that. I am scared I won't recover and I won't feel restriction again. Right now I am starving. Has anyone had this ?

5 months I had two sips of coke zero and paid for it. It was very painful and made me realize I will never drink carbonation again.

I crave chocolate as well. Last night I had 3 small bites of a chocolate cake. I felt a little guilty but glad I did not eat the whole thing. I am 4 weeks post op and on regular good. My dr says I need to increase calorie intake because I not eating enough. I am thinking in the future a few frozen kisses would kill the craving.

I think it is feeling a little better each day so maybe it was temporary. Still a numbness right above my belly button. If its not all better next week I will ask the dr.

I am 10 days post op and the area above my belly button is sore like I have a road rash without the rash. It hurts to touch. It is not near an incision, it is not red, or swollen. I am just curious if it has to do with surgery.

Donna, hang in there. My gas pain comes in waves but I use the gas strips all day and stay on my feet. When I get home I take some medication for nausea and it allows m e to drink at night.

I am like the person who can eat Peanut Butter by the spoonful. I know it's a Protein but will a spoon of peanut butter, creamy hurt me?

I had my first follow up a week after surgery. I feel like I am not getting enough nutrients even though I am not hungry. But I am down 20 lbs from post op. He said I had a huge hernia that will take longer to mend. Overall I think it went well. I have 6 more days of liquids and then on to mushie food!

I am sitting here eating a yogurt after three weeks (2 pre op and 1 post op) of Protein Shakes only. It feels pretty insane how much I am loving each bite of this yogurt. I don't think anyone would understand except for those on this site.

I was banded on Thursday, too. Still feeling a lite gas pain. I went to work for a bit today and then worked from home. Tomorrow I start on Soups and puréed food.< /p>

I made it to 230 and called it a day. Sitting in a chair was uncomfortable. Thank goodness I can work from home.

It's day 5 and I am going to attempt work this morning. I have a busy desk job so my goal is to stay as long as I can. I feel I am ready, not a lot of pain, just a little shoulder pain occasionally. Wish me luck .

That is my first goal. To sit in a chair and cross my legs comfortable. Taking it one step at a time.

I am laying in bed on the 3 rd day after surgery wondering if this will be worth it. I just had a little chicken broth and my stomach hurts. I have been drinking fluids just fine but my breathing is short and I feel tightness in my chest. I had a hernia repair as well so I am sure that is bothering me too. I just want to cry.

The pain isn't too bad today but I am on liquid diet only. I am ok with Water and Gatorade but when I drink a Protein Shake my stomach hurts.

Mine was done a week before my LB and it didn't delay anything. They were looking for a hernia for insurance purposes. My throat was sore for the day but fine by the next.

Woke up feeling a little better on day two after surgery. Yay. Praying its a good day.

I was banded this morning and happy to be back at home!!! I am sure it is the pain killers talking but I am not feeling too bad.

Off to the hospital. I am hoping to be home by noon.

I am down 11 lbs. and am at a 37 bmi. Just anxious to get this going.

After two weeks of pre op tomorrow is my banding day. I had a nightmare last night that I woke up and they said I didn't need the band so they didn't put one in. What if I didn't shrink my liver enough? Anyway, I am ready to face to new phase....
