I get the blah and not excited feeling. I posted about it last week actually. I took everyones advice and did some me things this weekend and I feel much better.

Get a pedi, walk the mall. Its amzing the more you have you time the better things fall into perspective. You are doing great!

2 much - I am happy about the weight loss. I meedes this so bad because of more than weight. I had some other things wrong that are starting to balance out.

I think its sometimes overwhelming and I feel like I am always thinking about how to get healthy foods in with a crazy life. I'm traveling for work and have kids in before & after school practices and running to games and church activites. Its just a lot and trying to figure it all out.

I know this is a phase but I want to enjoy this process. No one around me has been through this and can't really understand all the emotions. I've lost almost 40 lbs but not enough to go down in clothes so I just feel frumpy all the time. No better explanation than blah, but not sad or regret.

3rd fill today and down 38.2 lbs since my July 24th surgery. Why am I not excited? I feel really blah. Just blah about everything.

Anyone else feeling this way?

I had surgery on July 24th. It gets better. Before your first fill you'll be starving and eating almost like pre-band. I'm now at 4.7 cc in a 10cc band. Had lunch at 1:30 today and was fine all morning. Its a great feeling! Finished leftovers at 8 and no snacking in between.

Thank you. My headache got so bad I actually threw up. I cant believe I am this addicted to caffeine that I get physically sick.

By the 3rd day I was better. Started pre-op 7/12 and down close to 30 lbs. I was a total carb/soda freak. Hang in there!

My first fill was today and it was tough. Several pokes and then had to go to x-ray to get in port. Had 2cc added and go back in 2 weeks for recheck.

Next times we are starting with the long needle and no more thinking the short might work. Still to fat for a short needle.

It wasn't horrible but it wasn't easy either. Very sore tonight.

Down 24.6 lbs since my pre-op started on 7/12. 12 lbs since surgery on 7/24. Got my first fill today. I was at 2.7 & got 2cc added. Go back in 2 weeks for a check in.

Adjustment was not fun! 3 pokes and then to the xray room for the fill. Very sore tonight.

So glad I'm not the only hungry one. Banded on July 24th and first fill on Wednesday. I have been starving for about 4 days now.

Feeling like a failure right now because weight loss has stalled and I'm hungry all the time.

Just finished my 2 week post op appt.... guess what guess what guess what!?!?!?!?!

I'm down 24lbs so far and my first fill is in 4 weeks.... woot woot!!!

That stinks. I would have killed for a Protein bar during preop. I was all liquids.

Hi. I added fresh strawberries and a few Libby's Skinny pineapple chuncks. If you need more sweetness add Truvia. Only way I survived the pre-op. Good luck!

Hope you're better. I'm having this pain under my left breast when I breathe deep. I have no idea what's going on. Its new today. Hurts so bad!

Better today? I'm still sore but overall better. This pressure between my breast is no joke though. I sat up too long yesterday and paid for it with incision pain last night. Not doing that again.

I'm at home now. Been here for most of the day. My port incision hurts the most. And my throat is super dry... killin me. Drinkin water' date=' broth, and ensure clear. But have to get more as soon as my cup is empty. I made it upstairs when I got jome. Been getting up and walking around. Also picked up some gas x strips. Hopefully tomorrow is better.[/quote']

I hope its better too! Day 2 has been rough for me. Totally having the dry mouth situation too. I've only been able to drink a few ounces at a time.

Oh... and my final pre op weigh in was 248lbs.

Hi. I had mine yesterday. Mine was paired with a hernia repair so the pain is a worse. No complications during surgery. Just be prepared and ready to walk every hour. Walking really does help.

I go tomorrow for my surgery. I have cheated here n there with my pre-op diet and now I'm scared. I have lost 28lbs in 6 months thru my classes. I have had nothing but Water since 5pm. Has anyone else cheated on their pre-op diet and go thru surgery fine??

Me too. Surgery Wednesday. I'm great durung the day its when I get home and those munchies hit. Ugh!
