  1. That is the exact reason why I'm back on here after a year or more. I yoyo now between 182 to 189. I eat most of the time making good choices, but lately, I find that chocolate and candy are in my hands more than ever. Work was very hectic and didn't allow me to exercise like I was. I was working 6-7 days a week, 12 hours days. Now that work is "normal" again I need to get back to basics. I need help though. I will make a commitment to check this site and reconnect every day. I'd love to be a buddy to you, if you'd like. We could support each other.

    I would really like to have a buddy. I will check every day as well and let's get back into gear!


  2. I was banded a year ago and have done well, I am down to 152.6. The problem is that I am getting into the ice cream cycle again. I not too tight but my brain really likes it. I am trying to log my food again but am having a hard time exercising. I did well when I logged on here regularly and participated, so I'm back. Any words of wisdom or encouragement would be appreciated.


  3. Ok here's the story. I was banded Aug 6 and am down 27 lbs. I went for 1 st fill one month after surgery and didn't need it because I was doing good. About a week after that I was hungry more and got 2 cc put in. I did okay but wasn't losing. Went back in at next appt which was a 1.5 weeks ago and had 2 more cc put in. Since then I have had the pb for the first time ever every night. I had chicken get stuck so bad yesterday that I vomited. Today I can swallow but...water hurts. I am thinking clears for a couple of days, 1 cc Fluid removal Tuesday (my day off). Any other thoughts?

  5. Got my fitbit flex today and can't stop playing with it. I think it will be a very helpful tool. My Dr said she has one too and loves it. So glad I saw this thread otherwise would have never heard of it!


  6. I was banded on Aug 6th and have done well with my weight loss (23 lb) and have not needed a fill..yet. I have noticed over the last week I am drinking more Water but I am also hungrier than I was before. I am eating 1/2 cup per meal and feel full. I eat 3 times a day and eat high Protein, low carb. I do not drink with meals and wait 30-60 min after eating to drink fluids. Is the water causing my food to slide through faster? Do I need a fill? Or is it a combination of both? What to do, what to do..


  7. Sorry but do you know who was going to setup possibly monthly checkins for august banders? I'm anxious to learn a little more about each of us since we've shared alot of our problems already along with our successes. We're like a family. And we're on this journey so close together. Anyhow hope whoever brought it up still wants to do it cause I'm in if we try it. Thx.

    It is set up under monthly support groups 2013 august. Would love you to join!


  8. That's great news. I'm doing well. Getting my second fill today. And I've now lost 40lbs!! So happy to have lost 5 this week after staying the same for three weeks! I've got 4cc in at the moment and still not in the green zone. I'm eating more than a cup three times a day to satisfy my hunger so I definitely need today's fill.
