Congrats!!! I'm so nervous. My surgery is next month. Just nervous about the anesthesia. We're you nervous about being put to sleep? -
Yes it it two different test. I made a mistake and scheduled for endo thinking it was the same as upper GI until I called my surgeons office and was informed that I didn't need an endo. I believe some surgeons require different things.

All done my upper GI! It was all that I thought it would be...nauseating!!! Anyway! That's it! Pre-op then my surgery!!!!! Thank God! He made it possible! I'm really nervous now. Not about the surgery but the anesthsia has me on edge !!

Yes first of all they give you this drink called " fizzies" once I drank it, it showed up on the screen as this big air bubble ! They want the air bubble I guess to get a better look at everything. Then the nasty chalky drank! It's really cool to see everything traveling down your digestive track.

Nope! My Doc only wanted the upper GI. Thank goodness because I heard some unpleasant stories about the endoscop!

Well I received my approval letter in the mail today with a surgery date of sept. 30th. Does the Dr. Really go by tht date? Is it possible to have the surgery earlier??
