  1. Hey all! Just want to let those of you that may not have heard that we also have a very good and VERY private group going on' date=' on Facebook. It's not meant to replace this at all.. it's just another resource. Personally, I like it. I feel like we've got a little family going on over there. <img src='http://www.bariatricpal.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

Anyway, you can't search it because of the privacy settings. the only way to get in is to message me with either your email address or your facebook name. If I have to find you using your facebook name, I will have to add you as a personal friend before I'm able to add you to the community.

    Just thought I'd put it out there! <img src='http://www.bariatricpal.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' />[/quote']

I keep sending you my info for Facebook. This is my last try mariehornback@yahoo.com :-) my email and screen name are different.

  2. I forgot you started a new thread.

    Hi everyone banded 7-11 too.

I finally had a nm but it didnt feel like enough. I felt blah today, still a few gas pains.

I concerned that I'm not eating enough, I'm not very hungry. I've mostly had Jello and propel. I'm on full liquids per my doc, i can't get into the broth.

How often are some of you eating and drinking?

Are any of you on yogurt or is that a soft food?

Has anyone tried the healthy choice Greek frozen yogurt?

  3. Ok so they called in refill for my pain meds, yay!

Today is day 5 post op and I feel blah. I had a bm but it seems like I wasn't enough I still feel bloated like.

I have a question for my July 11 bandsters.

In my diet instructions it doesn't say how often I should be eating during this 1 week phase. Mines just say constantly drink Water. I'm not really hungry much at all but I was just wondering about everyone else since doctors are so different.

Also are any of you eating yogurt? And go you think that healthy choice frozen Greek yogurt will be ok to eat?

  4. Banded july 11th!

Today I tried to get out the house and go to Target, it kinda wore me out a little. I admire those of you who are past the liquid phase. I was happy that I got to change from Clear Liquids to full liquids. I'm still going to stick with mostly clear, until I see my doc for my week 1 post op visit. But having some Sugar Free Chocolate pudding made my day!!!

Have a great nite everyone and keep up the good work :-)

  5. I just tried a back massager on my back for gas pains and I got such a huge release of gas. I'm glad some of you have gotten out the house, I haven't got that far yet thanks to gas pains.

If anything I want to go back to the medical facility I stayed at overnight after surgery. I've only heard about them on those housewives shows. It was like a hotel but with private nurses and rooms. That was the best perk of using a Beverly Hills bariatric surgeon. Sad I didn't want to leave that place.

I'm still only drinking propel, apple juice and eating Jello. I'm scared to try yogurt cause on a normal day it makes me gassy.

How many days before any of you had a bowel movement??? I still haven't had one.

  6. I was banded on the 11th too!! I literally hate drinking plain Water but you gotta drink. I switched from water to propel which is much better for me. I haven't felt like having much else tho, the gas pains are still are a lil irritating. I'm staying away from yogurt & milk cause it makes me gassy. I started an ensure clear today, seems a lil too sweet but it's okay.

Good luck and call your doc 1st thing Monday about your liquid intake.
